>>108799464I want more pcie lanes and more memory channels for desktop cpus. 10gbit ethernet by default, captive screws for motherboard standoffs or toolless install, a better standard for power/reset button connections, OCP ports instead of 50 m.2 slots through the chipset, wider pcie slots for 2.5+ slot gpus fucking up the entire standard, and more consideration for watercooling everything like vrms and nvme ssds.I can't blame motherboard manufacturers for most of these but god damn consumer desktop has stagnated so hard in the last decade it's crazy.
I just want 10 sata ports. That's all
