Reminder that the AI you have access to is incredibly powerful but pales in comparison to what AI labs have internally

I really don't care. I like actually using my brain, thanks.

And?

What can I do with more advanced AI that I can't do today already?

Maybe software cucks will continue getting axed though

I created a spontaneous fission delayed neutron library a few weeks ago in 5 days using Claude code. It would have taken me 6 months before AI.

so uh...
why aren't they allowing people to use it so they can have the best AI on the market and sweep the competition?

I have not seen one of these analogies that works. It's getting really tiring.

real world use case? how big is the company running this? how many monthly users?
>>
>>108802294
This is just the data library. There's no code associated with it.

Our simulations of radiation fields are now slightly more accurate. Previously everybody was just leaving those neutrons out and systematically undercounting.

But realistically none of the work I’ve ever done or ever will do is going to be particularly impactful.

If everybody makes things a tiny bit better it adds up though, since there are a lot of us.

It's actually incredible how little rat sycophants still fall for this grift. Must be sunk cost motivation or just this overarching desire for their ineptitude to be equalized. Very leftist.

The hilarious part is that the primary side-effect of LLMs is abstract nonsense (i.e. "research level math" which might or might not becomes useful) and psychosis (i.e. "I will prevent the Anti-Christ by introducing ubiquitous adversarial surveillance"), and we don't have a reliable test for which is which yet.

And the government and the army probably had this technology decades ago.

I have an Haproxy server that handles ~200 apps. The default stats page looks like pic related (which displays only 2 sites). The page is decent, but rather bloated and hard to read when you have a lot of sites.
In about 30 minutes with AI's help I slopped up 500 lines of Go that pulls the stats csv and uses Raylib to render a nice, colorful display that puts only the stats I care about onto the screen. I can switch between showing only the servers, or servers with backends, with a simple keypress, and anything that's down blinks and flashes.

It's something I could have written by hand before AI, but never bothered because the context-switch would have been too costly. It wasn't important enough to spend time on since just pulling the data from the CLI with python was technically good enough.

WHY THE FUCK DO YOU PEOPLE KEEP POSTING THIS NONSENSE ON GITHUB!?
>>
>>108801917
What the labs have isn't even close to what the government has access to, the same applies for technology. What they have is decades ahead of what we know.
>>
>>108801959
we rewrote roughly 20 years of legacy code in a few weeks
before claude the estimate for the entire project was 3-4 years
