The worst part about making loras isn’t even the training or having your GPU locked for hours, it’s the fucking tagging. Spent 4 hours today just tagging and editing 20 dataset images after getting home from work. Feels like I worked a 12 hour shift total this shit is soul draining

I set comfy up once last year and have been updating semi-frequently without any issues relating to my gpu. I'm on linux so I don't really know what the experience is like on windows, but I can't imagine it's much different. I did mention before that there are fewer options for lora training and none for anima (yet), so if that matters to you, that might be another reason to stay away.

idk anons I just don't get this anima model. I guess only inbuilt artists work well? Loras feel super iffy and everything is different from gen to gen. Can't spot any real patterns on what settings to use when and the turbo lora alters the style significantly, at least when used with other loras.

From my limited testing batch size 4 (with gradient accumulation 4) had significantly less overfitting on a dataset with 50 pics than the batch size 1 on your config. BS 4 generalized better, didn't hyper-copy certain poses in the dataset, and retained (some) darkness from a few of the pics. My original config really was bad but was also did darkness much better than both so I'm not sure if it was multires noise or training in full bf16 that did that.

Stuff like chaining automatic mask selection with Florence and SAM, making nodes, tweaking padding based on base resolution ratio, all that pipeline is part of the art too.
