Everything is already from China, but here we discuss the cheap chink shit you see on various sites.
1st rule of /csg/: If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

what should i do if i bought a wifi dongle that doesn't work? i didn't yet confirm it as received because i wanted to test it first
the problem is that it simply can't find any networks, tested it on linux and windows with the manufacturer's driver and chatgpt couldn't get it to work either
the reviews were mostly good but i noticed there was one where someone had the same problem:
>Additional review:
>After trying it, I can say that the product does not meet the necessary requirements for conducting Wi-Fi audits. Although it is compatible with monitor mode, it cannot find Wi-Fi networks. When searching for networks, everything appears blank. At least for audits, it is not useful, but I don't know what else you would use it for. ! !

yes it's less than 10€ but i have a severe lack of thrill and excitement in my life
how hard would this be to refund? should i send some threats to the seller first?

I learned about the new 3 Euro EU tariffs on Chinese imports going into effect July 1st last night and am now panick buying all sorts of small items I may need in the future.

Fuck these Zionist ghouls funding their genocide and imperial ambitions against Russia with my Aliexpress habit.

Anyone know if that exemption for parcels over 150 Euro will still be in place or was that the old rules?
>>
>>108810781
Forgot to say what I wanted to say: if so, try clicking on the physical switch button for the WiFi by the side of the notebook. Pic related
>>
>>108810809
i bought it for a desktop pc but i tried it on a notebook as well, neither of them worked
the rfkill command says everything is unblocked and i think this lappy is too m*dern to have a switch like that anyway

Saving Mon showed up again yesterday and I managed to claim it and grab some dollar stuff. Supposedly it's running for a couple weeks but it disappeared for me.

That’s like $500 in American terms, it’s not happening

not explicitly a /csg/ question but I picked up a newer JBL flip to use at work & replace my first gen flip.

apparently the newer ones don’t have stereo built in as part of the redesign and need a second speaker to pair with.
Question I want to ask is, how viable is this over a traditional home/PC audio setup (economically speaking)?

Gotta really show that it's election year.
At least now I'll look into buying some small gadgets and things again.

Whats the usecase for alot of the junk on Ali? i mean people gotta be buying or they wouldnt be selling right? knick nacks like pic related seem like fun novelties but they run off coin cell batteries
>>
>>108811667
You could modify those with other cheap stuff from Ali and make them run off of USB.
>>
>>108811667
i only buy things which i use (like, i don't have posters, plants, physical books toys or figs)
compared to my brother who's accumulated a load of shit which sits there and takes up space, i reckon a lot of these items act as checkpoints or markers to remind him that an experience had happened
i used to think stuff like your picrel and anime figs and plamos have no utility but if you look at them and they give you a few seconds of joy or pride then there's your usecase right there

I need your help to find a 3/4" GHT to 3/4" BSP adapter. For some reason it's proving nearly impossible to find.

I found one single product offering an adapter male GHT to female BSP, but I also need female GHT to male BSP. Anyone know the best place to look other than aliexpress, or if there's a trick to improving search results?

trying to mod my gen 5 ipod for bluetooth and better storage is there like a dedicated list of things to buy from aliexpress or is it users choice?
>>
>>108818460
Some of the replica parts can be REALLY shitty. I bought a front cover for my 6th gen and it was as soft as a beer can. Even the best parts don't come close to originals.
For storage you just need a CF adapter board and a CF-SD adapter. The adapters all use the same chip even the overpriced iflash ones but they have different firmwares that may affect compatibility.

That's not a website; that's app manager (https://muntashirakon.github.io/AppManager) and you can get that version off apk mirror or straight from the playstore, with aurora store app; just use manual download and type the version code into it (80005797).

are there really no truly universal controller holder for phones? Shouldn't be that hard to have a block of plastic that just snaps to most controllers, given it's not like they're all wildly different shapes

The wafer calls to me.
I want it.

>>108820047
The very cheap ones are ass, might as well be e-waste.
The lower-mid range (think 40-100$) are okay if you have low expectations, they're more like toys though. Fun if you don't expect a home cinema setup. I have the cheapest I'd recommend going (below that it's really not worth it, see >>105737799 for a review.
If you want something you actually want to use for a home cinema setup, you'll need to pay more.
>>
>>108820815
fuck that would look really cool in my electronic workbench
>>
>>108821061
Exactly, I want one, put it on a picture frame and then hang that next to my electronics shelf.
If you get one beware though, some seem to be old used wafers (cool) while others are basically colorful squares imprinted to look like a used wafer (much less cool). The second one won't have the micro-structures under a microscope. Up to you if you care of course, but I figured I'd warn you just in case.

i have the HY300 and might've been one of the anons who suggested against it. I bought it for around $32 and used it for 10 days before giving up on it. Latency meant that I couldn't game on it and the lack of brightness made media hard to watch.
I sideloaded xtra (adless twitch) and Smartube on it but even this doesn't balance out the negatives. I think I'll try one more thing by projecting it onto my white ceiling but if that's not good then I'll put it into storage for good.
