Seriously what the hell. I've been losing patience with their degrading level of service but this is ridiculous.
I need to migrate my FAQs that i maintain. What are my options? Neocities? Github pages?
Pic unrelated.

literally whatever you want?

if you want ~cloud resiliency~ then you already stated workable alternatives. if you want ease of use, it depends entirely on what's easiest for you to use, and if you're wiling to adjust that to something that could work better for you.

fuck, selfhost a hand-edited html page served through nginx. you can literally do anything you want and provided no requirements you might have that could restrict you. I don't really see why this needs to be asked.

I think I'm more irritated that I'm going to have to do the work of the actual migration at all, and trying to decide which will be most straightforward.
Between rentry jamming NSFW ads in and catbox dying as an image services provider, seems like this publishing "platform" has fallen apart.

idk man you basically brought this on yourself by using the Freeā„¢ Cloud HostedĀ® option. nothing is truly free and now you're paying for it. other services might seem more reliable but make you pay in other ways (i.e. you and your creations are the product). picking another such service is just kicking the can down the road and you will most likey have to deal with this again in the future if you choose to do so.

just take the /g/pill and spin up an alpine container, shit out your markdown, render it locally with something like pandoc (or in-browser at the client with something like marked.js), install caddy and configure it (read the docs), point it at your files and sudo rc-update add caddy && sudo service caddy start. put the host behind dyndns or freedns, or pay a few bucks for a .com. never have to touch any of it again.

Self-host isn't an attractive option. I run hobby servers and know what's involved. I feel like using your home network to serve Web pages is painting a giant target on it. I run another website that's hosted, and the amount of trash attention is gets is staggering.

I'm doxxed on the one I pay for, it's tied to a biz entity.

That's the utillty I probably need; the biggest challenge I foresee is converting all this MD to HTML. I can write raw HTML but the thought of converting all of it doesn't sound fun.
Also looking, appears Github Pages Jekyll can render MD. I might give that a shot first.
> marked.js
Or above. Main reason I'd like to stay in MD is it's very simple to update thing.

Especially given their problems right now. Well... at least I'll have a local repo to start from if it vanishes.
I guess I'm set for now. Ty for thoughts.
