What is the point of a helmet that doesn't protect face, ears and the back?
What kind of tech must be created that develops a helmet that protects the whole head?
>>
>>108814321
We have the tech to protect like in many motorcycle helmets but the ability to see and move will be limited and can lead to worse outcomes in fights.
>>
>>108814335
I know anon, that's why I asked in terms of "military tech" not "civil tech".
>>
"high cut" helmets are meant to be used with earpro

but whatever third world military is in the pic isn't issuing it
>>
>>108814321
Helmets only protect from debris and rubble, not from bullets. Bit like construction workers are required to wear a helmet.
>>
>>108814502
They aren't in combat, why would they wear that crap just standing around in some public space?
>>
>>108814321
This >>108814502 for the ear cutouts, and the back is cut out to accommodate armor vests.
>>
>>108814321
You're supposed to use your hands for protection

They're serbs.

What kind of tech is needed to develop a helmet that protects against bullets?

>>108814544
Wouldn't it be more efficient if it were a single piece instead of several?

Modern kevlar helmets protect against bullets, don't listen to that retard.

>Wouldn't it be more efficient if it were a single piece instead of several?
No, because then the soldier wouldn't be able to move his head independently of his body. Turning his head to the side or up or down would be impossible.

You'd think soldiers would get some sort of active hearing protection that specifically listens for high pitched drone whirring. Maybe send an alert tone to the soldiers to look out/get to cover. Although I guess it doesn't matter that much when a drone can follow you into a building or vehicle and blow the whole thing up.

God is a serb and he will protect us

the answer isn't technological but corruption
>>>/pol/ can give you the answers you seek, don't even bother with /k/

Because the entire military uniform is for cosmetic purposes.
>>
>>108814321
What's the point of meat if you could use drones?
>>
When processing power becomes cheap and small enough to where you could have a network of cameras all over a battlefield, attached to every soldier, tank have special camera ordinance to clear fog of war and have it all fed into a digital recreation of the world, then you could have the soldiers wear a 100% coverage helmet with a VR screen and headset.
It'd be like how football/the Superbowl gets tracked.
>>
>put helmet over ears
>can't hear shit
>sound that's behind/beside you sounds like it's coming from the front
>>
>>108814834
the whirring is the high pitch alert tone brotherman
>>
>>108818197
You could even filter out your soldiers' screams and wounds to ensure morale remains high.
