In office catering is tax deductible for the company while out of office catering is a taxable benefit.
Net, this makes in office catering about 60% cheaper to provide.
If a company cannot afford to have an actual in house kitchen they'll provide Uber Eats credits so employees can do overtime instead of having to go home and cook.
