If they were this omnipotent they would've stopped the bots a long time ago. They still can't differentiate if it's a human or a bot. You can also create false identities that they aren't able to parse accurately. If what you are saying is true there would be no need for IDs at all. They would just know and be able to verify instantly.
>>

Right, it's only the shadow cabal who is capable of running LLMs... You are retarded.
>If what you are saying is true there would be no need for IDs at all.
Exactly, there isn't a need. Zuckerberg's playbook is to get inefficient portions of public industry under his arm in order to capture value. It has nothing to do with improving the government's capacity to surveill you. If you take one solid look at the systems the government uses, this isn't an "if this is true". It just is.

yes your government tracks you through all the shit that they have, most importantly your ISP. BUT tracking companies have to rely on fingerprinting your device, which can be defended against. those are the ones who will profit from this.
anything else, like the government backdoors, ISP Url checks etc. require a subpoena and possibly a clearance level on whoever is tracking you, and that is not going to be used to just spy on average people even with AI because it would require too many resources.
implying that it's futile because you can't appear anonymous in front of fucking Palantir is laughable and you are retarded. this entire age verification push is because companies like Meta want to deanonymize the net in order to unpoison their training data that they harvest from you. luckily I live in a country with strong online privacy laws, where we probably won't adopt this stupid shit and there will be always a way around this, no matter how much cattle like you wants to drag everyone down with them.

>BUT tracking companies have to rely on fingerprinting your device, which can be defended against. those are the ones who will profit from this.
Barely. You do not need to have a non-unique device / browser fingerprint in order for them to track you. Even the post you just made is enough for machine learning to ascertain your vocabulary as if it were an image with EXIF data. This still could have limitations, of course, but I'm only pointing out one example out of many. The more data you output to the internet, the more that OTHER models of data could be referenced to ascertain who you are.
>anything else, like the government backdoors, ISP Url checks etc. require a subpoena and possibly a clearance level on whoever is tracking you
The american intelligence community doesn't give a shit about court subpoenas. Please don't kid yourself.
>and that is not going to be used to just spy on average people even with AI because it would require too many resources
>implying that it's futile because you can't appear anonymous in front of fucking Palantir is laughable and you are retarded.
Learn what Palantir does and come back to me, they don't just use AI for everything. I've seen way too many people speak of this company without knowing how their system works at all.
The NSA consolidates many data breaches, they use other forms of information as a reference point in order to ascertain who you are. If you can pivot from one piece of information to another, the resources aren't going to be too big of an issue. You don't even need to constantly run machine learning algorithms to do this.
>verification push is because companies like Meta want to deanonymize the net in order to unpoison their training data that they harvest from you.
This doesn't make sense to me, I've only seen this as a speculation but I've never been pointed to a source. I think the better thing to speculate is just capturing value from inefficient resources.

>Even the post you just made is enough for machine learning to ascertain your vocabulary as if it were an image with EXIF data.
this is a fucking fable and you know it
exif data is a string of unique data, wording and grammar changes over time. sometimes very suddenly. it cannot in any way be used to track someone in a reliable way, we are not handwriting our posts here.

>The american intelligence community doesn't give a shit about court subpoenas. Please don't kid yourself
this wasn't my point, and although I know about the constant abuses that glowies commit(loveint being one of them), the government and it's agencies have to at least pretend to give a shit about laws, warrants and subpoenas, because otherwise whatever they try to do may not hold up in a potential court case. if glowies decide to illegally look at the URLs someone visits, and figure out that he's looking at something illegal, they cannot use that in court and are forced to find another way. you're also not addressing the resource and also quite frankly cybersecurity problem that would come with using government backdoors in order to track everyone but whatever.
>I won't explain why you're wrong on Palantir... because I just won't ok?
I expect as much from a verification shill, just shut the fuck up and take the 0.02$ per post, did they at least adjust for inflation since the shareblue days?

>wording and grammar changes over time
It does. I was saying that if you speak about multiple different topics, this could be consolidated into different profiles. I said explicitly there are limitations.
>you're also not addressing the resource
The resource of the inefficient market? I'm saying that there are already resources that aren't used, because they consume data in a highly efficient degree. It doesn't make sense for a second until you look companies that are purposefully inefficient in order to capture value, hospitals in particular struggle a lot with this in my country. In retrospect, Zuckerberg probably doesn't even struggle with poisoned data to begin with. But both of us know that some corporations and government institutions (that aren't the intelligence community like the NSA, DHS, FBI, etc.) still "struggle" with poisoned or unorganized data, they "struggle" to profile certain people. I say "struggle" in quotations, because the utilities that DO help organize this data and build profiles threaten a lot of inefficient parts of the economy.

>but muh they already have ur info dingus
yea no shit. they ILLEGALLY obtained your info by BREAKING THE LAW and will not disclose this in court so they cannot do dickshit without getting a judge to sign of on at least a veneer of search & seizure to "find" whatever bullshit they wanna nail you with

you are the dumbest nigger faggot if you think that they will not use this to line up their spying with the legally obtained digital ID tracking and make a case that holds in court

sure companies also want this to verify accuracy of info sold and ads watched by humans and other circles of hell but the fluorescent misanthropes want an easy way to avoid annoying domestic spying laws which can only happen if citizens self-report their identity and broadcast it to swathes of private companies.
if there are any genuine skeptics ITT and not just shills I implore you to look into how many CTOs and security heads and MARKETING DIRECTORS AND NON-TECH POLICYMAKERS in these tech giants are former glowies. sure a security chief I understand you'd want a former glowie but a fucking head of marketing? really? the NSA and FBI and CIA are where the marketing prodigies are coming from? it's all a big circlejerk while they treat us as soulless automatons. oh no, the husks are getting too uppity, better find a way to charge them with XYZ or even just show up to their house with a pair of officers (which will make all but the most diehard chuds shit their pants), and for those stubborn ones we'll show up at 3am instead with a search warrant and seize everything precious to them that they can legally take and shoot the rest

we all need to arm ourselves and learn about gunpowder manufacture. i'm not even advocating violence, just... we should all be well-educated. just in case
>>
>>108818418
National Security.
>>
>>108818422
there is judicial precedent to lean on if you suspect the police or FBI have obtained evidence illegally. if they cannot prove to the court that they obtained this evidence legally then that evidence can be challenged and thrown out, no matter how compelling. i understand that the justice system is fucked but you can still fight these things in court, they would prefer never to have to get into such sticky situations to begin with and have it all cut and dry from the start. outside the US, I suspect governments like the EU and brazil would like to simply be able to hold more of their population hostage with laws that already exist but are inconsistently enforced. Brussels in particular has a hard-on for enforcing surveillance unilaterally and a pan-europe digital ID scheme is great for that. but in the US at least it's not as simple as calling disclosure a risk to national security, otherwise they'd be operating a lot more freely and the FBI wouldn't have to drop cases as often as they do
>>
>>108818418
>you are the dumbest nigger faggot if you think that they will not use this to line up their spying with the legally obtained digital ID tracking and make a case that holds in court
THEY DON'T FUCKING NEED TO. There's more verifiable evidence than a digital ID. Nikolas Cruz did not submit his fucking ID to google.
>>
>>108818474
Those were records provided voluntarily from google AFTER he killed people! and he did his searches while logged into his account. no shit they've already linked this all together, that's not my fucking point. did any of that tracking and spying stop him from killing people? did the police have anything they could actually nail him with before he killed people?

currently, in may of 2026, you can still browse websites without an account, make google searches without an account, rarely even purchase things without an account. digital ID makes it easy to connect everything without relying on shaky stuff like IP addresses and timing correlations that might not sway a jury. a guaranteed connect-the-dots from age verification and digital ID will absolutely sway a jury
when you can't even view a website without ID, then what?
>>
>>108818507
>digital ID makes it easy to connect everything without relying on shaky stuff like IP addresses and timing correlations that might not sway a jury
They use these two things to find enough reasonable suspicion to obtain a warrant for a search where more evidence can be found, no digital ID needed at all. More types information of the like could be procured for reasonable suspicion than mere time correlations and IP addresses.
So much for advocating education.
>>
>>108818544
sure, you got me, but my point that digital ID expedites this process and makes it easier to get a search warrant or easier to find probable cause to send officers to harass remains true.
>>
>>108818609
It's true that it makes it easier, but I am saying it's already extremely easy to begin with. What also remains true is that, given the data associated with verified IDs and coherent profiles (like aliases) versus the data without, there could be systems trained to procure more information (through things like data breaches), with operations that are sometimes as simple as pivoting information without machine learning where it doesn't have a need for a digitally verified ID. I understand that people are complaining "it makes it easier", but there comes a point where people cross the threshold from a genuine concern to shallow fearmongering as if any of this surveillance is new. If they can already chew data THIS well, then ID verification doesn't have that significant of an effect. It's only posed as a lazy solution for companies and institutions that struggle to identify people, but if Zuckerberg and Meta were actually struggling with their data then I would be surprised.

Your point doesn't even mean anything. There are multiple data systems that are consumed by Palantir's service that gives a coherent model for other institutions, you aren't doing this for a single satellite. The military has multiple command and control systems with multiple devices to handle, what the fuck do you think they're going to use? Why have they been earning a shit ton of contracts lately? Why have they shown improvements across the commercial industry?
This is the shit nobody bothers to study, but they speak SO much about it. All we needed for child protection was some standard request and response headers to indicate age requirements.
>GET /porn.mp4, User-Agent=Chrome, User-Age-Range=over_16_under_18
>400 Bad Request, Minimum-Age-Range=over18
99% of websites would happily implement this because it would be easy and unintrusive. Browser and mainstream OS vendors would happily support it too. Buying a new computer would be considered an age-checked purchase, like alcohol. Run some ad campaigns so that parents are aware they need to set up child accounts. Done.

It might not be too late. The industry should implement this ASAP so they can demonstrate to various governments: Look, we have self regulated and added effective controls that don't compromise privacy. There's no need to force us to ask people for passports and shit.
(Of course, in at least some cases the reduced anonymity is a feature for governments and not a bug. But it would at least be harder for lawmakers to argue for it.)

Did you miss the word "would"?
My post was a suggestion for a solution. Right now a 12yo with a generous allowance can buy a laptop and set it up themselves, so to make a good faith argument that you're tackling the perceived problem you would probably need to make a reasonable attempt to stop that. Tell stores (physical and online) to treat laptops and phones like beer.

OMG they finally got age verification? The site has just been blocked for the longest time. And it just worked without any requirements so it must have remembered a token.

>Ok gweilo just don't get jailed for using VPN.
If I have my own dirt cheap VPS overseas and tunnel through that, what are they gonna do about it? "Banning" VPNs only seems feasible to the tech illiterate.

Who exactly? The file server has been unresponsive for everyone, so if there are literally any artists still up it would be a revelation.
