do you have an article about this supposed house burning down op?
>>
unless you puncture it, it's very rare for a swelling battery to actually catch fire

I'd be more worried about fire from a fresh battery, which is so full of energy that the tiniest internal short can make it catch fire.

How do you fix this?
I forgot my power bank in the car and now it's like this.
>>

put it outside your home so the garbage collector can pick it up

There's not much you can do, the batteries themselves are compromised. If you want to save the rest of the electronics you'd have to buy new batteries and replace the bloated ones, though dealing with bloated batteries can be dangerous and I imagine those are most of the cost of the battery bank anyway so I probably wouldn't bother and just buy a new one while disposing of the old one safely.

bruh stop with this meme. almost had a technician wipe my data until i came back to my senses and replaced the bat myself. it is just glue holding it together.

this. last time I changed batteries on my previous phone was 5 years ago. new battery was 5€ from ebay and the whole replacement took me like 5 minutes and a youtube tutorial on how to do it. its a fucking nothing burger.

Imagine not storing your phone in a bucket of dry sand.

It's a goddamn shame everything is glued because idiots like a NuTwitter developer think "water proof" means they can dunk their fucking phone in a goddamn pool and have it be okay, versus just accepting electronics aren't fucking water proof and avoiding that.

My Pixel 7's battery has expanded enough to separate the screen from the chassis by a couple of mm. How fucked am i?

I had a bad pixel 4a & 7a

That has nothing to do with the issue doe?
Replaceable batteries can still puff up.

>Replaceable batteries can still puff up.
Yeah but replaceable batteries can also be removed and jettisoned into the ocean where they belong instead of burning your house down.
