Picture in Picture not working properly in Wayland is the new File Picker meme when it comes to flaws in desktop Linux. It's amazing that complex Windows emulation can be done in Linux yet simple Window Management fails. And the fact that attempts to solve it have been USECASE'd makes it even funnier.

Works on my machine
>>108821501>It's amazing that complex Windows emulation can be done in Linux yet simple Window Management fails.one is entirely run by trannies, the other is not. I'll leave you to figure out which is which by yourself.
x11 doesnt have this problem, gayland will never be a real protocol
Open video in mpv, resize window then set window to always be on top
In KDE you can set a window rule to automatically keep Firefox's Picture-In-Picture windows always on top.
I still can't drag to extract anything on Wayland. It's shit.

>>108821501not my problem in x11 session
>>108821501What the fuck is picture in picture from a "window management" perspective? I can't understand. My understanding of PiP is having 2 video outputs on a single screen, and my screen does support that.
>>108821501we told you about Gn*me but you didn't listen
>>108821501send webm now
when people complain some graphics shit isnt working like OP they are always using Nvidia GPU which is broken as shit
>>108821501I click the PiP button on Hyprland and it pops up as its own window with a video player. What else it it supposed to do?
works on my machine with nvidia gpu
>>108821873>retarded workaround that doesn't actually fix the issueAh yes, it's troonix time
>>108821501>Picture in Picture not working properly in Waylandit never did lol, you need a extension to make it work
