i'll start
>>108825647Microsoft owns Linux but this post will only make sense in 7 years
"open"ai
>>108825663they retired that so they didn't really lie
>>108825647AGI
>>108825705FSD
>>108825658It makes perfect sense now to anyone with an above room temperature IQ.Systemd = Microsoft. It is in every major distro.
>>108825647AI will be useful, and is not a bubble.
>>108825658I mean Microsoft owns GitHub so yeah
>>108825768Isn't github collapsing? I quit using it when they forced 2FA.
>>108825674>they stopped lying so they didn't really lie
>>108825674It meant: "not paying up is evil"
Microsoft should say it loves free software!Just saying Linux no longer means anything.
1TB = 1000GB
>>108825647/g/ is a technology board
>>108825647>biggest liellms weren't possible or in use until 2017's "all you need is attention." not only did they know they were possible, they ran google code jam, facebok hacker cup, etc for training data and to test llm coding agents as early as 2010.
>>1088261191 TB =0.909 TiB
>>108825647>ai is bad>coding is straightThe most common lies in tech
old thing = bad/insecureThey want you plugged in to the botnet 24/7. You can run legacy offline.
>>108825658It doesn't really work like that, if they buy out Linux people will just fork the previous version and call it Mixux or something.
>>108825647they were trying to EE'E it
Microsoft Store is open source
>>108825647That isn't even a lie. Microsoft's biggest source of revenue is Server Products & Cloud Services and most of that runs on Linux. Of course they love the fact that there are people in the world who contribute to Linux without having to pay them a single penny. Also having an open source ecosystem that let's different companies work together on a single project to improve it reduces duplication of efforts and improves the quality of the product that they want to build on Linux. No one outside of the Linux fanboy crowd cares about any ideology like "free software". Linux is mainly a tool that gets funded and developed by billion dollar companies and then gets used by those same companies.
>>108826813I'm down for a Mixux, but everyone should start migrating to GNU Hurd now, instead.
>>108826061He was right though
640kb ought to be enough for anybody
>>108830650It was back when companies didn't recruit software developers out of boot camps in the ghetto and whatever third worlders they're able to import.
>>108826463Google translate was using a proto-llm and it was shit in 2010.
>>108825768Linux isn't developed on github retard.
>>108831189Most of Linux programs are though. People are slowly moving on from GitHub I guess.
>>108825658>MicrosoftIBM*
>>108827634Switch/PS4 are the last consoles worth owning only because they can be jailbroken. Once games of either can be fully emulated then there's no reason to keep them around unless you want the hardware experience. I told people for years they would be the last good ones and Sony/Nintendo proved it these past few months with age gates and minute by minute DRM; it's gonna get worse, they'll probably do the Apple thing and make consoles slower.
>they'll fix windowsany moment
>>108826119That one is correct though. And 1TiB = 1024 TiB.Not WD's problem that dumbfuck Americans keep using a non-SI system proliferated by a dumbfuck 'industry standards' platform that is unique to the US.
