>>108827057Of course he is.>expected to think hard for 8 hours a day every day>creative (not a lot but still) highly-skilled work reduced to menial factory work in its status by the way it is handled in the corporate world>it's emasculating and anti-natural to men - as a man you're supposed to explore the world, build stuff with your hands, compete (physically) with other men, not sit slouched in front of a screen all day, indoors, under (poor quality) artificial lighting. It was a job originally expected to be done by women - see pic attached.Stress of the above literally makes a lot of (disproportionally so) men cut their dicks off. People laugh but it's not funny at this point, it's just sad how antihuman has this jewish world become.
A few years ago, if you were intelligent and computer minded you'd be a Quant. Now all the smart and well paid people are AI researchers.
>>108828032>Now all the smart and well paid people areJews. Always were. Always will be.Smart people don't get their hands dirty with actual work. They leave it for goyim.

>>108827057Thank god I'm dumb as shit so this doesn't affect me
>>108827349Maths required for programming is a massive lie. You need it for a few applications, but by and large, you don't need maths for it. It's a good indicator for if you're smart enough for problem solving, which is what programming is all about, but maths itself is not super useful.
>>108827810So... poledancing?
>>108827344He didn't say the trap was exclusively for smart people.
Crazy how a youtube video shows in my feed then /g/ makes a thread about it the next day
I don't know what he's talking about. I genuinely don't know how fucking retarded people are that they can fail their CS classes -- or any classes, for that matter. It's literally all a big joke in 2026. Not a single class is teaching even 50% of the material, at 50% of the depth you'd need to actually learn it at, in order to do real work.If you don't believe me, just go actually talk to your professor and ask him directly. See what he tells you the real curriculum is.

if youre enrolled in or finishign a cs degree in the current year, you are actually certifiably unintelligent. its a trap for lazy internet addicts with 100 flat IQ.
>>108831360>hypomaniaHe's on TRT now, no joke
>>108828069Lots of people use math in programming. Wagies don't, because all they do is slop together frameworks and make CRUD apps. It is sort of like comparing a painter who paints office walls a solid color to a painter who paints portraits and landscapes.
>>108832680He's fuckin right. Modern academia is a joke. Even here at UofMichigan it's basically highschool courses 20 years ago. If your brown or a woman just fake everything and you'll graduate Cum Laude
>>108831360>I also have no idea why he has such a hateboner for CS studentsIt's because he started as a CS major and then switched to Math. He probably just thought for a long while that CS was the path for students who prioritized money over mental development, and that intellectual-minded people would float towards Math just like him, but now that CS-related jobs are getting slashed due to AI, CS is going back to being just another weird, overgrown branch (or degenerate case) of Mathematics.
>>108827057Yeah I've been thinking about itI should've gone into medicine instead
>>108827810>poledancingThere is always going to be horny people to sell to, how many people need a programmer that you know of personally compared to how many horny people you know of? Simples maths anon.

>>108827057This guy is a bullshitter. His math book videos are just him describing how the book smells. He clearly doesn't know what he's talking about or he'd tell you more about the book than what's in the index.
>>108827057Does he also sell bagels for a living?>>108827349>>108833397I started in CS and switched to math, only to get a software engineering job in the end. >>108827057I don't know about it but without financial pressure you don't have the motivation.I went to university in my nordic country and compared to high school, I have NEVER seen more boring classes and teachers who were so bored of their own lives. It was something what happened across the board. That was quite fascinating really. Needless to say I quit.C 101 was probably the best, teacher read chapters from Kernighan & Richie book and the exams were done on graph paper using pens. I'm still repulsed by that experience.
>95% of /g/ gets filtered by Calc II grim
>>108833258The plans laid long ago, before the founding of America, and older still, will come to fruition. They're trying to force God's hand.
>>108833248Blisteringly true. The sad thing is that the CRUD apps wagies are slapping together often process tons of data, the kind of processing that would benefit from fast algorithms and hardware knowledge. A lot (and I mean a LOT) of software out now is slow because it is made by bootcamp devs who only learned syntax.
Programming is one of the most difficult branches of applied mathematics; the poorer mathematicians had better remain pure mathematicians.
>>108827349Depends on what you want to do. In gamedev you can definitely google your way out of most problems. But as someone who sucks at math and has been making shitty games for over a decade I can tell you basic trig and linear algebra background would have helped me tremendously. Sadly a lot of that stuff just doesn't click for me at all. I watched tons of math courses, it just doesn't stick. I honestly have no idea what cos, sine, and tan are for instance, like I know it has to do with trianglez n' shiet but once I see it pop up in code I just blank out. This is like 9th grade math lol. Even being this retarded I've managed to build countless shitty games in XNA and stuff.
It really is a shame that so many intelligent, creative people are funneled into either software. Part of me thinks one reason why everything sucks in real life, why we have collapsing bridges and buildings, ugly architecture, decaying cities and towns, is that anyone with the ability to fix these issues is stuck on a computer working for FAGMAN or finance. The digital world is a parasite which drains the life out of the real world. Only now the digital world isn't fun anymore either.
