sorry, i didn't read anything you just wrote.however, the thesis for the googlebook is quite simple. if you take AI to its logical conclusion, you will discover that 'apps' are a meme, and poking about inside apps like an ape is also a meme.if AI can see APIs, call APIs, understand side effects and understand state, why move the mouse? let the AI invoke the neccesary API calls to activate the UI region within whatever app it is that you need.the notion of 'launching' apps is silly. managing, organising apps, etc. - all of this was done because the entity that 'invoked' API calls could not do so without visual and physical cues.google is aping this future by pushing out the platform now, before the AI labs (inevitably) solve the present problems of limited context and slow token generation. they want to be ready for the UI-less compute future for when it arrives.
