I think that companies are investing hella into Artificial Intelligence because they want governments to think “I want to invest hella into Artificial Intelligence too! I don’t want to miss out on the fun!” so that their revenue streams become mandatory because they are paid for by taxes and so that people can defend their revenue streams with “Without the State, who would build the Artificial Intelligence?” So basically, they know its a waste of money and useless but they need to trick the government first into thinking its valuable.

they want it to be integrated into everything you do so they can eventually replace you. slavery through tech will replace the slavery through debt model.

I don’t underestimate the sunk cost fallacy approach that A.I. companies are trying to instill in their users.
