What is the best browser?
>>108829573there isn't one they're all shit
>>108829573If you need Chromium then Brave, just de-bloat it, or use Winutil to do so. (or go Brave Origin on GNU/+ Linux)If you don't need Chromium then Firefox + uBO, it still out-does Brave & uBO Lite when it comes to Ad-Blocking.Doesn't matter which you choose tho, you will have to configure & de-bloat both. Anyone saying anything other than these 2 is a paid Mossad agent that has zero knowledge in technology.
>>108829573They are literally all the same shit.
>>108829573Safari, 'cause it's the only non-Chromium one that isn't shit.
>>108829573NoneJust compile your own ChromiumOr if you're lazy, Ungoogled ChromiumIt's basically Chrome with all the Google crap removed or blocked. So it's the pure form of Chromium with nothing added
>>108829599To add on top of this; https://privacytests.org/Helium will be abandoned within a year.Zen is worthless unless you want to do Reddit larp.Waterfox is the same thing as Zen, except now they also larp as Brave. And the rest aren't worth mentioning, Vivaldi is fine if you want a browser that looks like a children's toy, but they will eventually kill off uBO support.Again, Brave for Chromium, Firefox for Gecko. Simple as.
>>108829619>To add on top of this; https://privacytests.org/>Firefox for Geckoaccording to the link Librewolf comes on top though so why not that instead?
>>108829619>Updated 2025-08-12
>>108829654Yep, go read my first post >>108829599 which clearly states you will have to configure it.Idk what is with this website and people making comments without fully reading things. And to answer your question, simply because all forks will always lag behind with security updates.
>>108829573Firefox because it comes pre installedEdge because it comes pre installedSafari because it comes pre installed
>>108829619Many of those tests literally don't matter because it's the adblocker that blocks those third party testsJust because Brave embedded it in the browser doesn't mean it's not datamining your ass for AI lol. That site was probably made by Brave to advertise its 'advantages'
>>108829573VanadiumTrivalent
>>108829573Any browser not made by USA.
>>108829599Brave faggots are so fucking annoying
>>108829619Helium looks interesting but I generally avoid 1.0 products.
Reminder that it was CERN that opened a wormhole that allowed demonic entities to enter our world to inflict humanity with the World Wide Web.
>>108829725It's cool if you hate them & the product, but it is the best Chromium option.Don't spazz out just because you're uneducated and want to larp.
>>108829667which subreddit have you flown in from guy
>>108829573firefox: for regular browsingchrome: for dev and work
>>108829619>linking to privacytests.org>he doesnt knowliteral shill site by a brave employee
>>108829725you hate it because you know it's the only good chromium browsertry using any of the others after mv2 got killed and they are stuck with ubo (((lite)))firefox and its forks are nothing burgers because they are google-controlled opposition
>>108830271>the only good chromium browser>funded by thielkek, there is no such thing as a good chromium browser
>>108829573Arc-bros......Where we at now, I just went back to Edge.
>>108829599>Brave Originwhy would I want to remove the Tor feature though
Firefox on desktop, with a Chromium-based browser as a backup Brave on Android
I updated Opera a coupe of days ago and now YouTube won't play any videos because I have an adblocker. I like Opera, but don't use it for a while until they fix this horseshit.
>>108829573I am quite fond of LIbrewolf
>>108830362You shouldn’t use Tor through brave to begin with, even brave recommends against it. I would still wait for Brave Origin to get a stable release before using it though
>>108829573they're all shit but i think librewolf is the least shit option for firefox and either ungoogled chromium or brave is probably the best for chromium. I only recommend brave for the built in adblocker otherwise the bloat is retarded and annoying.
>>108830841also ladybird is probably the last hope for a good web browser. I think the beta/alpha is coming out within the next year or 2.
>>108829573Never ever use a single browser.
There should also be an add-on/extension which makes every system that it is installed on look identical defeating the purpose of fingerprinting.
>>108830841brave is like 20% faster than ungoogled chromium due to pgo compilation
I use Firefox on my PC and Brave on my phone.
>>108829790>allowed demonic entities to enter our worldYeah, but I wouldn't be able to access 4chan? Wait, is 4chan a demon or is it just my browser?
>>108829573Damn, China owns Norway now?
I personally think duckduckgo. They have a long path of improvement to make, sure, but the prospect of not having to have all of that data recorded all of the time is definitely worth it.
>>108829573Let me add some more non-American browsersUC Browser = ChinaSamsung Internet = South KoreaYandex browser = RussiaMaxthon = ChinaPale Moon = NetherlandsWaterfox = United Kingdom
>>108830271>try using any of the others after mv2 got killed and they are stuck with ubo (((lite)))mv2 was never killed. it still works in chrome proper. just have to set launch parameters.
>>108830362there are two versions of brave origin:https://support.brave.app/hc/en-us/articles/38561489788173-What-is-Brave-Originso one version of brave origin is just pre-defined settings for normal brave. there you can turn tor back on.
>>108829584FPBP
>>108830087Cry harder faggot
IMO ranking from the list:1.) Firefox2.) Brave3.) DuckDuckGo4.) Vivaldi5.) Safari6.) Opera7.) Chrome8.) Edge
ok, idc. I just use chrome.
I like Zen the most. Helium is fine. I guess I'd use Vivaldi if I needed something established.
>>108829573Using floorp, strong like nipponese steel.
>>108832846Looks like the options you have with group policies.
>>108829573What is the best browser?links, because i can run it inside a terminal window
>>108829573WTF? I love Vivaldi now.
