I know many people are skeptical about new Linux distributions, often calling them “just another respin,” but I still want to share what I’ve been working on. My project is called B1ackOS.

It’s an apolitical and international operating system based on Debian Sid (Rolling Release). The core idea is to избaвить users from unnecessary hassle. The system uses systemd and follows an “install and use” philosophy: there’s no need to manually configure sudo, add installer repositories, or install basic conveniences like Fish and command-not-found. All of that — including proprietary drivers — is already included out of the box.

I place special emphasis on maintaining my own repository. I continuously expand it so that everything is available in one place: from everyday software to database tools and pentesting utilities. This helps avoid turning the system into a mess of third-party custom repositories.

The system is very lightweight (minimum requirements: 1 GHz CPU, 2 GB RAM, and 4 GB of disk space). There are images available both for servers (including i386) and for desktop use with a familiar Mint-like interface. Right now, I’m actively working on ARM64 support.

There’s still a massive amount of work ahead, and I’m really looking for people who can help maintain the repository and contribute to the Wiki. If you’d like to help or simply test the system — feel free to join, I’d appreciate any support.

That's a lot of yapping my dude.
Quit the shitty reddit spacing and go put all that effort into buying an AD for your spyware distro.

It is without telemetry, and is not connected with Russia (the maximum is that I communicate in Russian). I wrote a lot, because I no longer know from which side to present, I can't please people.

Most Linux distros don’t have anything to do with politics to begin with, so by making an apolitical distro, you end up making one of the only distros that has anything to do with politics.

I know that most normal people are not attached, I inserted this only as a warning for the future, now in Eurasia many distros are connected with them

Oh boy, another Scrimblo Blimbo OS, add it to the pile of 99999999 linux distros nobody uses because it's just debian + some shitty tweaks maintained by a high schooler to pad out his resume that will be dropped once he gets a job at mcdonalds.

There are a lot of people who grumble instead of doing something themselves

>Nooo you have to have the CoC that has no racism or heckin fascism. That's not political that's just being a good fucking person
>Uhhh sweetie. The fact you even said 'apolitical' is a microaggression against me and my belief that my worldview should be forcibly imposed on all projects. If you don't ban anyone I think is a chud then you're a fascist distro.

What's that saying? "Equality looks like oppression to the privileged?" You might need to check your privilege.
