>actually krashed
(You) told me it was an outdated meme and that it barely ever happens anymore
this is a fresh install, hasn't even been a full day
(You) lied to me.

Never had a machine never crash ever in my entire life.

if you drag and drop a file from a folder to the desktop bellow that folder the whole plasma will restart like windows explorer. if you do this to the right or left it won't. I can still reproduce it in the last version. Fucking weird how this shitty desktop is made.
>>
I found a weird bug that happens whenever I download pictures with DownThemAll on Plasma. A random image overwrites my current wallpaper for no reason. I have one file set as my wallpaper within Desktop and Wallpapers. Wtf. Luckily its not breaking my user space but still weird.

KDE is trash. It used to be good many, many years ago. But now? Trash. That team constantly bites off way more than it can chew instead of making the basic DE actually usable.

They actively recruit jeets. They are German, surrounded by high IQ jeets, but loooooooove the Indians.

GNOME has troons, but no one ever said they couldn't code.
>>
When I start KDE with dual monitors, the login graphics shake up and down until I click the mouse. Doesn’t occur with a single monitor. Other than random applets just crashing for no reason on startup, that’s the only bug I saw testing the latest KDE on Fedora 44. Not a good first impression.

>>108832265
That's not your screenshot. That is a picture from a how-to guide or documentation.

That's not the KDE dev team, you deflecting jeet. That's Indian attendants at an event in...India. Show me the commits, and learn the definition of "pork" while you're at it.

Yeah I know, they go there to recruit more contributors, and thus KDE becomes more jeeted.

No, that I am not. I think you’ve mistaken me for someone else.

Lemme guess, Fedora

I've posted pork several times, and I've also posted meat + dairy several times, whereas you've never posted beef because it is illegal in your country. Also, the last time I posted pork, you told me that it wasn't pork because it was ham. This proved that you are Indian because:
>1. Ham is pork, lol. But Indians don't know this
>2. It wasn't even ham, but bacon. But Indians don't know the difference
Pork is extremely unpopular in India despite not being explicitly forbidden by Hinduism, so it makes sense that you would be unaware of basic western gastronomy.

When I tried KDE with Fedora 43 I got a crash report popup the instant I booted into the desktop after install. It was literally the first thing I was greeted with before the greeting panel could even load.

As we know, Hungry Jack's is a popular restaurant in America. Yet more proof that you are Indian.

surely I'll either doxx myself through the local butcher or get on a bus to a city wasting hours and sanity to buy beef at a large tesco just to prove you wrong, surely... nah, I think I'll leave you with your delusions instead.

HJ isn't owned by Burger King lol
>doxx myself
How is eating beef doxing yourself? Every westerner has access to beef in his freezer.
>get on a bus to a city wasting hours
The Freudian slip. You are Indian.

Well, did you send a report?

That's not even how the logic of the question works; you are just repeating English forumisms that you think will make you sound clever, depite being too Indian to actually understand them.

>be a "power user"
>spend 48 hours configuring a pixel-perfect >anime girl desktop layout
>rice it until it looks like a cyberpunk spaceship console
>change a single widget padding
>plasma_session_wayland fucking explodes, segments faults, and burns down your house
>back to the command line to fix your bloatware symlinks

Imagine unironically using a desktop environment held together by spit, prayers, and the fragile ego of C++ developers who still think it's 2004. Every single thread on this board is just "muh custom blur effects" followed by "why does my system freeze when I plug in a second monitor?".

Meanwhile, GNOME just works. No, you don't need 4,000 customization menus to hide the fact that your DE is inherently broken. You don't need a custom kernel just to stop KWin from choking on its own spit.

Enjoy your custom desktop themes while you stare at a black screen and a blinking cursor, chuds. Next time, install a real desktop environment instead of a glorified, crash-prone toy.

Should have automated it with a Plasma script and then maybe it wouldn't have exploded on you. Stop tweaking stuff and just use the desktop and get on with your life.

Don't expect real conversations with these people. Dead internet theory is already here. Users were just parroting buzzwords all along
