I miss them so much. Their GPUs were too good for this world.

I get really nostalgic about the high end video cards I wanted as a teenager but could never afford. They remind me of how much fun we had at LAN parties before the Internet ruined gaming.

holding onto my evga 3080ti for dear life

>people yet again larping about $brandOrProduct they never bought being sooo great
The performative bullshit is getting tiresome. Yeah sure they were so great that barely anyone bought them which is why they went EOL.
>but muh nvidia
Yeah nice excuse.
>>
>>108837042
Stop larping nigga, ASUS shits on them any day.
EVGA was iPhone of GPUs, only bought by retarded people.

>never bought
I recently bought an ATI rage32 for my P5-100. I also have an ATI RAGE 128 but it's not quite period correct.

ASUS are literally on my perma-blacklist for dogshit anti-consumer practices, also the last mobo i bought off them had the most infuriating dram slots ever, you had to force the ram in soo hard you nearly broke the damn board everytime.
>>
>>108837231
ASUS is way more like Apple pretending to be premium when they aren't
>>
>>108837231
Yeah but the durability on an EVGA card was astronomically better than any other NVIDIA card I ever owned.

>>108837219
They had a 40% net market share of NVIDIA series cards.

The reason is that the CEO was incompetent and couldn't strike up a deal with NVIDIA. He also says he was retiring and wanted to wind down the business, but that's fucking the worst bullshit I've ever heard. He couldn't remain a controlling board member? Couldn't hire executive talent to run the company in his stead? It just reeks of sopme Asian honor based giving up dumbassery. So because they refuse to keep selling cards, people like me have to settle for Asus or MSI.

>>108837211
how retarded does it get, clearly a newfag
>>
>>108837042
it's funny that nvidia had literally only one good gpu board partner and they quit while amd has three good ones
>>

>ANUS is le best
You're from the UK, aren't you?
>>
>>108837231
Asus shit the bed 15 years ago

>>108838052
lol no the reason is nvidia started making their own cards and liked the profit margins on those more so they raised the prices to vendors to stupid high prices and EVGA said that’s it, shitty business practices from Nvidia killed EVGA
>>
I always bought ATI and AMD GPUS up until like 2017, and back then GPUs were hard to get and got lucky on an Asus 1070 Ti being in stock. I tried to get a 3080 and somehow got an EVGA 3080 from Newegg, it was awesome. Card was great, I wish I bought EVGA earlier so I could have done the upgrade program.

>Nvidia killed EVGA
they never went anywhere
