Will I have issues with an NTFS formatted external hard drive if I’m installing linux for the first time and use it to move files from my old windows install to a new linux install?
>>108839112No, Linux can use NTFS drives just fine as long as it's for simple file transfers. The only times you'd have issues is if you're trying to play PC games off of that drive.
Do people really look at this and think "damn I really want my desktop to look like that"?
>>108839112No, I did that when I installed Fedora a year ago. I still do my weekly-ish backups to an external NTFS hard drive.
