How hard is it to just... not use an LLM to fill your repo filled with slop?>b-but we have to MOVE FAST AND BREAK THINGSstupid cattle doing what corpos advertise
>>108842812basically this. imagine using AI for hobby work.
I told you fags programming is dead but you didn't believe me15 year olds today are vibebuilding and vibeshipping products that would take you a decade of experience to develop
>>108842861I'll consider your post if we can first agree that India should be locked down and swiftly depopulated by any means necessary.
>>108842875a 10 year old Indian kid is gonna steal your job this decade while not even having to leave india bro
>>108842907>exposes himself as a brown insectEvery single time.
If AI is so good, they would need no jamboys to shill it.
>>108842975If magical oracles that solve every problem were real, they'd be solving problems using their magical oracle while everyone else is dumbfounded by their inhuman efficiency. Every """AI""" product is positive proof that """AI""" doesn't exist.
>>108842773Well, shit. What's the good alternative?
>>108842988>they'd be solving problems using their magical oracle while everyone else is dumbfounded by their inhuman efficiencythis is already happening. programming LLMs became insanely good in the last 6 months. like "paste jira ticket's contents into Cursor, go take a leak, and come back to ready solution, with tests, docs and even git commit message" good.
>>108842954Does it make the certainty of your job loss less true?

>>108843012I'll consider your post if we can first agree that India should be locked down and swiftly depopulated by any means necessary.
>>108843041well, obviously
>>108843065Ok, then here's your friendly reminder that LLMs still can't reason or solve any novel problem, no matter how simple.
>>108842847
>>108843069>novel problemI haven't dealt with one since at least 2019.
>>108843078>I haven't dealt with one since at least 2019.Then maybe you will be replaced by token shitters and I see no problem with that.
>>108843081rude. what do you do that is so novel?
>>108843007Clover >>108840512
>the programer's highyeah this guy is going to troon out
>>108843110More or less everything I do is novel except for "educational" projects.
>>108843110NTA, but I work at a computer hardware company. Fun blend of hardware and software knowledge. Lots of room for innovation because engineers are absolute retards when it comes to software. Generally I’m creating ways to better interface with complex tools, creating automation that they didn’t realize they needed (it’s amazing how bad functional coverage tooling is), and just generally creating internal (free) versions of proprietary garbage the company is licensing. Why can’t AI do this? Two reasons. First, a lot of this specific domain knowledge is simply not publicized, AI will actually fight you and produce irrelevant code because it doesn’t have appropriate context. Second, whenever engineers do try to write code, they make THE BIGGEST PILE OF PYTHON GARBAGE YOU’VE EVER SEEN. Ask for something performant? Hey about about a C library that’s actually just a language binding to a python script! :DThere aren’t a lot of people in the world who do the kind of work I do, it wouldn’t be hard to fit them all into the same room. I’m not sure why people who decided to pursue a career as a mindless code-monkey drones are surprised that AI can just do their job better. Honestly just be smarter and find a niche that underserved. There’s a lot of them out their.
>>108843238>out theirFuck I biffed it. Oh well, I never said I was good at spelling (AI is allowed to do that for me).

>>108842773I thank the developer. His app makes browsing the basket weaving forum easier.
>>108842773post the rest of the message please
>>108843178Are you sure? I'm reading here that the last update was in 2019.
