I installed in on a spare laptop the other day and the process was pretty pain free except for me dealing with my shitass older laptop having issues with UEFI so I had to switch to a DOS style install.
Other than that, getting everything set up was very straight forward and its repo had packages for basically everything I wanted. For everything else there's flatpaks or alternate repos.

Well if you install Artix, it doesn't actively promote something that would make leftists mad. Only thing is just the situations where some leftists tried to force some political ideology to somebody in technical forums and devs said "stfu".
