>>108844914wow thanks for marking sentences in a ahort email for me. AI has cooked my brain so much i can barely read.
you WILL be fired for expressing such sentiments
>>108844957yeah it's really refreshing to be told to look at 80% of the text of a few lines rather than having to read it allwhich i did, btw since you can't get the context of the email without reading it all since it's so short. random highlighting aside, I enjoyed reading it.
>>108844914I built a custom KEDA-like scaler with Claude for my job. It ended up being 35k lines of code. The overall quality was good because I kept constantly telling it to do this, do that, and implement things in a specific way. But, it still had a lot of issues related to race conditions and overall consistency, and the AI generally not understanding that, in distributed systems, there are trade-offs to make. You cannot fix everything by putting locks everywhere or the save state snapshots gazillion times for eventual consistency. You need to base the system on strict rules and there are limitations you can't just run away with and you have to decide which you go with.Even though I finished the overall project in about a month, it took me almost two more months to fix everything properly. But now it works really well.Without AI, it would have taken me around 4-5 months, so it still gave me a productivity boost. I did it with Opus 4.6.AI isn't all bad, but if a developer doesn't know what is he doing and doesn't look for all edge cases constantly, I can't image them building anything like this while it being fully functional. In fact, it's super dangerous to allow such a code in a production without reviews and strict tests.
LOL
only complete retard would say AI or name an exact model out of context, tongueing those hmm, you know what.a cyber-coder would say it was his bird - the bird said this, the bird said that. etc.> Summary: the image of birds as messengers is ancient (Biblical and folkloric), and the specific idiom crystallized into the modern proverb by the 1800s and became widespread through popular culture.
