Are you watching humanity become obsolete?https://x.com/Figure_robot/status/2056057735444394142
Do you really get cash money for shilling twitter? Like you can just shitpost ragebait all day long on writter and swim in big money?
>>108847342"big money"if you're a thirdie $500/mo from twitter ragebait is a lot of moneythere's a reason these accounts are all indian
>>108847227robots will never take off, the manufacturers have no incentive to sell them. >build robot>sell it for 20k>the company that bought it saves 60k per year from a one time purchase>your robot company only got a one time 20k payment, and only 20% of that was profit. it's more likely that robots will be manufactured and then rented out at a rate that is cheaper than humans but still competitive, while companies don't have to pay payroll or health insurance costs.
>>108847342
>>108847459wtf that's like 2 orders of magnitude more than what youtube pays for engagement
>>108847452>One time purchase You believe that when cars have subscriptions over their mileage now?
>>108847227with how much frank is fucking up I'm starting to believe it really is an overworked indian in a vr headset that they have doing tihs entire 104 hour shift on a meth binge
>>108847227watching this makes me extremely uncomfy. My head hurts from the monotony
don't they have purpose built mail sorting robots already?except they're basically conveyor belts with cameras and mechanical diverters instead of a shitty pointless bipedal humanoid body that will wear out after a couple of weeks.
>>108847522this isn't built to be a mail sorting bot, it's to display the various capabilities of it. all of the things it's doing can be used in other tasks.
>>108847539But what happens when the jeet piloting it quits mid-workday?
>>108847403>there's a reason these accounts are all indianAnd paid for by jews, for their agenda. Don't focus overmuch on the symptoms of the problem and lose sight of the reason it exists.
>>108847342Yes, you can. Yes, that's why there are hundreds of millions of posts being made daily. Good luck competing for likes!
>>108847403I bring home like $8k/month. $500 isn't nothing. That's like, at least two more anime figures
>>108847227>robots will buy consumer goods and pay the electricity billsBravo kojima
>>108847471Surely there's a wire you could cross with another and just make the thing go. It's a hunk of metal that spins, at some point there's the actual thing driving it that can just be accessed and activated
>>108847469Yes, but you need to pay X before you can get any of that engagement.
>>108848134>>108847227>replace all your wage slaves with robots/AI>now nobody has any money to give you for the shit those robots are makingWhat the fuck is the end goal here?
>>108848134>>108848509It's done by Jews, they don't think that far ahead. "Remove goyim workers, cost go down, stock go up". That's only as far as their thinking goes.
I don't even understand why this is a job a homan would have, let alone why we'd want a humanoid robot to do it. What, look at a package and flip it if it's the wrong way up? Idiocy.
>>108848549>It's done by Jews, they don't think that far ahead. You're an anti-Semitic retard and a moron. Jewish people are the most intelligent ethno-religious group of all.
>>108848509>What the fuck is the end goal here?A NEET vs wagie war. The wagie underestimates the intelligence and physical strength of the NEET and will lose every time. NEET rights are human rights.
>>108848509All of humanity becomes youtubers and we all watch each other to pay each other via ads
>>108847227
>>108848727you are a clanka
The west should really look at chinese history and what happens when too many people become jobless
>>108848549If anything, Jews would want goyim to be wageslave drones forever. What you said makes no sense.
>>108848509>What the fuck is the end goal here? While humans are fighting in the trenches the robots are making ammunition and shipping your moral packages (and the drones that will kill you)
>>108847227Literally no one wants to do these kinds of jobs. How is this a bad thing?
>>108848509you poor idiots are so capitalism brainwashed you can't even conceive anything else. hey bud, maybe they don't care. your money is just a means to an end. if they can get that end they don't need your money. robots mine their own materials for freerobots process their own materials for freerobots make their own electricity for free by building solar panels and wind turbinesrobots build themselvesrobots maintain themselvesrobots make products for freehumans get products for freereal complicated, I know.
>>108848668yes you don't understand a lot of reality. there are a few billion jobs that are just doing shit like this all day every day. use your eyeballs to acquire a target, use your hand and fingers to manipulate an object to get it into a goal position. cashiers, restockers, warehouse workers, assembly lines, etc etc etc etc etc etc. you guys aren't understanding that this robot isn't made to just flip packages. it's a general purpose robot the same as an LLM is general purpose. You wouldn't say LLMs are retarded they can only send text! because it can do math, it can do logic, it can recite building codes from specific jurisdictions, it can recite law, it can program at the level of a senior employee, it can analyze stocks at the level of a $500k employee. etc etc etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewInNv0IkOQ&lc=Ugwab2dWs0aSMprQgJB4AaABAghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wfvhec2B-Ihttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmW5wLL7QoEhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_vAXti-7gY
>>108848509>What the fuck is the end goal here?
>>108850392that's probably the one that dude blew up
wagies don't realise how fast robotics is moving rn. In labs we already have robots able to do most household tasks and we have algorithms that allow us to teach news tasks to the robots with only a few demos. If you are doing a manual job that requires little force you are being replaced in the next 20 years >t. robotics PhD
>>108850460>t. robotics Phso what's somthing cool about robotics, is china going to make it in the autonomous robots sector, are they as ahead as they look in that kung fu demo? any cool stuff, and lastly any hope for humanity?
>>108850479I'm phoneposting sorry: no they are pretty far behind in terms of algorithms and are extremely dependent on Nvidia simulation and training tools. However I'm working for one of the biggest companies in the US and even they have to resort to buying Chinese motors for their new robot to keep the cost reasonable. Basically china lads behind in pure research but are far ahead in production and cost
>>108850506interesting
>>108850506yeah boston dynamics can make a whopping 4 atlas robots per month while the chinese companies are pumping out 10,000.
>>108850506>>108850532what the fuck happened with JP in this race? they were #1 by far, where are they now?
>>108850506why are their robots moving so well when compared with BD? any words from DARPA? my memory swears there was a part from boston dynamics that went into DARPA
>>108850539It's a long story but to make it short, before we used very specific mathematical models and extremely hard to thune controllers called MPC and japs were pretty good in this domain. However they are shit at everything deep learning related (they are shit at programming honestly) so they missed the bus, there's a huge effect in control theory of old professors not wanting to move on to learning based control for a lot of reasons, that hurt Japan a lot because they are very respectful to elder professors>>108850533well yes but they are the reference
>>108850625Idk what you are talking about BD is the reference in control. For DARPA it's been a long time since we had a robotics challenge, the last real one was the cave exploring one from memory. I'm not sure about BD at this particular time I wasn't in the game yet
>>108850640>>108850649>>108850506I'm still phoneposting I'm really sorry for all the mistakes kek + I'm in Taiwan rn so I'm tired.
>>108850649I meant, why are chinese robots doing acrobatic kung fu, while BD seems to move slow in comparissonalso happy to see that we're almost on the same page regarding darpa robotics, what you named is what I've also seen.ur son/daughter if you have any will probably be passionate about the field because itis indeed very exciting
>>108850658oh fuck it's elon musk
>>108850679because it looks good, even if it's not accurate or stable or anything. that's essentially how china functions.
>>108850697I get it, that rob is literally me with a few too many drinks
>>108850697That clavicle smash move at the start is truly iconic.
>>108850182>humans get products for freeWhat humans? These robots are building things "for free" that wage slaves used to buy, and the companies won't be building them just to hand them out for free to those unemployed wage slaves.
>>108847227>Are you watching humanity become obsolete?human has more packages, didn't the human win here?
>>108850980anon you can't control self replicating ai, did you not watch startrek?
>>108847459Why don't mods perma ban these blatant advertisement threads
>>108848509The end goal of robots is to support aging childless population and fight on the battlefield of WW3 when countries run out of soldiers.
>>108848509If the rich don't need anything from you then by definition they have everything they need.
>>108847452Why are you so dumb.If a 20k purchases saves you 60k per year, you can also buy 3 extra robots "for free" to do even more work, meaning making even more money per resource used.>>108848486They're controlled by millions of line of code. Nothing "goes" anymore. The worst part is that shit's been a huge problem for years, many car models having breaks that literally don't break when used. You can google "drive by wire" and "break by wire" for information about that at the basic level, and consider that with electric cars it's literally a computer with wheels.

>>108850460But that's been the case since at least 2015ish. Source: I worked close to that tech during my master's. That's kinda the problem: that tech has been in the lab forever and isn't getting out. In my days the issue was that robofags were stuck in the muh interpretability bullshit, like the cv people were until the imagenet moment.

>>108847227>Are you watching humanity become obsolete? What are the robots going to do with no humans around?
>HAHAH DEATH THE WORLD IS DYING KILL DEATH DEATH>"why are you obsessed with death?">THE JEWS, ITS THE JEWS!!!!!!!!!It has become tiresome.
>>108847227>intern: unpaid>robot: millions of dollars
>>108847342>ragebaitThis is fucking cool. We're entering the future.
>>108847227lazy and fat is the future
>>108848668>>108850226They'd be better off using cameras and mirrors along the conveyor belt.
>>108850226LLMs can't do math, can't do logic, can't do code. They can only write text. And that's exactly why people complain: because they are marketed otherwise.
>>108850697that's why china doesn't need niggers on crack, they have those silly robots instead
