"BitLocker having a backdoor has never been proved."Where is your god now, CIA niggers
I saw the repo before it blew up on social media and the author distinctly said they did not think it was intentional. Which to me seems obvious. If it was an intentional backdoor it would only be in the special NSA builds of the winPE/winRE, not the normal one. Is it that hard to believe indians are just bad at coding?
trusting microsoft with your data is retarded. may as well give google your data or sony.
>>108850808why must it be either or? who's to say glowniggers haven't been outsourcing codemonkey duty to jeets for years?
>>108850729i thought bitlocker was well advertised as having a backdoor; microsoft can recover your data even if you lose the key (for a huge fee ofc)
>>108850808The exact opposite is true you glownigger faggot. The Readme in the repo explicitly states that they don't see how it could have happened by accident and therefore it looks like a backdoor.Kill yourself
>>108850808The readme says they think it is a backdoor. Everything you said is tur exact opposite of the truth>Now why would I say this is a backdoor ? The component that is responsible for this bug is not present anywhere (even in the internet) except inside WinRE image and what makes it raise suspicions is the fact that the exact same component is also present with the exact same name in a normal windows installation but without the functionalities that trigger the bitlocker bypass issue. Why ? I just can't come up with an explanation beside the fact that this was intentional. Also for whatever reason, only windows 11 (+Server 2022/2025) are affect, windows 10 is not.https://github.com/Nightmare-Eclipse/YellowKey
>>108850808It's not often you see this kind of high quality bait
>>108851605The guy seems to have a grudge against MS. I mean the stuff he's released and the dates of release > 1d after patch tuesday. So yeah he would never give them the benefit of doubt. Also just look at how this is triggered: zero code. Just copy part of the installer iso to a usb disk and press a few keys. If it is not deliberate it sure looks very easy to perform.. I mean too easy
>>108850729So what's a safe alternative?
>>108850808>it was the NSA it was indians!now we know for sure that indians are used as a scapegoat by glowniggers
>>108850808
>>108851628It's not bait newfag it's a glownigger doing damage control on the honeypot they own and operate.
>>108850808>If it was an intentional backdoor it would only be in the special NSA builds of the winPE/winRE, not the normal one.and what if it's not an NSA-managed government backdoor, but just one that microsoft put in for their own benefit, and they just happened to accidentally misconfigure their release build
>>108851661>it's too sloppy to be a backdoor!>they have a grudge against Microsoft!>ignore that I explicitly lied about the contents of the readme file in the repo to do damage control!Kill yourself
>>108851620>only windows 11Not intentional. Vibeslop.
>>108851979It works on pre-ChatGPT versions of it too
>>108850729Seems to be perfectly fine unless you use TMP
>>108851661>its way too easy to bypass the front door security>its almost like theres another door>hm... like a back door....
>>108850808>I saw the repo before it blew up on social media and the author distinctly said they did not think it was intentionallying glowniggers in absolute shambles: the thread
>>108851720Opensource encryption or proprietary encryption from a company that hasn't taken on any government contracts.
Anyone who chooses to daily drive Windows when it's not a requirement for their livelihood or education is a fucking retard. MacOS offers great performance [on the hardware it ships with] and a reasonable level of usability, while Linux and BSD offer unbridled freedom and privacy. With Windows you get none of that. Just pure, unmitigated glownigger jeetshit AI slop, and utterly broken highway billboard UX. Disgusting.
>>108850729>only need a USB stickif you need way more shit than a key, you got a 100 fucking problems
>>108850729Okay so they should get rid of crazy Windows 11 hardware requirements for security if the security can be bypassed this easily.
>>108851720A separate hardware encryption device between the host and the device on the pcie/sata bus on which the key can only be inputted via separate physical UI and software has no access to it.
>>108855429The reason for the requirements being there is to facilitate this shit as it's tied to TPM.
So we w10 chads are safe?
>>108850808Why can't it be both? It was released to the public and not just the CIA, sort of like Forza Horizon 6 was released unencrypted on Steam last Friday and WHOOPSIE! Pirates were able to play before purchasers were.
