If you described these features of Rust objectively in a neutral context most /g/tards would say this very promising and interesting. But because tranny cock lives in their mouth rent free, they start screaming and crying.

>We adopted Rust for its security and are seeing a 1000x reduction in memory safety vulnerability density compared to Android's C and C++ code. But the biggest surprise was Rust's impact on software delivery," Google's Jeff Vander Stoep said. "With Rust changes having a 4x lower rollback rate and spending 25% less time in code review, the safer path is now also the faster one

>With roughly 5 million lines of Rust in the Android platform and one potential memory safety vulnerability found (and fixed pre-release), our estimated vulnerability density for Rust is 0.2 vuln per 1 million lines (MLOC).

>Our historical data for C and C++ shows a density of closer to 1,000 memory safety vulnerabilities per MLOC. Our Rust code is currently tracking at a density orders of magnitude lower: a more than 1000x reduction.

wdyc?
tech illiterate /g/eets are irrelevant, and their "feelings" are immaterial.
and the world is becoming such a wonderful place, that even kike games are not effective anymore.
this is why rust has been growing non-stop in adoption for a decade, while /g/eets are crying non-stop every day (except most shabbats).

>C and C++
Conflating these two doesn't inspire confidence. People who know what they're talking about don't do this, unless they're tryna obfuscate the facts.

They are essentially the only languages of note that leave gaping RCEs everywhere. It makes sense that bad actors would stir anti-Rust sentiment to preserve their stockpile of RCEs which Rust would've prevented entirely, but on /g/ I expect a lot of it is just tranny deranged culture warriors.

thread up

>/g/ hate for Rust is based on emotional kneejerk reaction to trannies
Sorry but I never said that. I said it was because the syntax and featureset.
>>
It's not a reaction to trannies. Trannies are just a pretext.
The real reason why so many people here dislike Rust is because they are retarded cniles who learned C during CS and lived under the impression that knowing a baby first language somehow makes them superior because "it's how computers work". I meant, at worst they would have to use C++ which they can just treat like "C with classes" and their future employer definitely won't notice or complain.
But I then Rust happened, they tried it and it was a wake up call. They realized they don't really know what a lifetime is, what's the difference between a pointer, address and a reference. They can't really comprehend a zero sized types, bottom types, DSTs that aren't VLA, how safety and guarantees work, etc. they got filtered hard im the systems programming domain they were supposed to be kings at.
So they turn to look for cope to justify themselves.
>Rust is a tranny plant
>Rust is a government plant
>Rust is a Biden administration plant
>No one uses Rust
>Only unemployed use Rust
>Only stated plant corporates use Rust
>Rust is too difficult
>Rust is training wheels
>Rust is too bloated
>Rust is too barebones
Etc

Rust is for trannies though you gotta admit it
>>
First of all, this post is written by a tranny, I guarantee you that. Second, the problem with Rust isn't trannies. Trannies are the symptom. The real reason people don't like Rust is because people who write in Rust (mostly trannies and tranny-sympathizers) want to push everyone to write everything in Rust - things that have mo business being written in Rust, like WebApps, browsers, CLI utilities etc. Those things would be better off just written in literally any other language and for the most part those things would do fine with a GC. Rust's complexity and ugliness is no match for most of the usecases it's being pushed for.

this thread is a comment from another thread, likely (100%) made by a bot

grim

i bet the schizo that implemented the half ass evolution to randomly pick a topic from a thread and make its own thread feels so smart, thinks nobody notices or figured out his retarded schtick

I don't know about trannies, but people have been shilling Rust hard for like 5+ years now and software is still getting worse and worse, year after year. Correlation or not, things are certainly not getting better. So it's means it's just as shit as everything else out there.

fpbp.
all the rust hate and tranny association is Jewish astroturfing, they hate it because it's a white man language and they like their Israeli exploits being easy to make.
And half the time someone replies with some meme tranny image of supposed rust foundation members it's literally nobodies that half the time are not even related to the project and the other half have not contributed anything to it or built anything with it.

I hate rust because it makes moderately difficult things slightly easier, easy things unnecessarily difficult, and leaves the real difficult things that are the actual bottleneck in software development completely untouched. and also because it's being pushed by trannies, yes
