Easily the best Chinese model right now. R1 was good for seeding a chat and then switching to a smarter model, or switching to R1 whenever things were getting stale, but V4 is good enough it can be used standalone, and is cheap enough you can slowburn with it even despite the loss of coherence on longer chats.
