>>108857711One of my great seethes is that there is no free flexible display manager that allows you to configure the brightness curves, has sunrise sunset triggers etc. You literally have to monkeypatch monitor cli's in powershell to get anything actually useful
>mode: automatic>brightness: automatic
>>108857711I was in the movies one day and a boomer in the front row had his brightness on 100% or something, I looked for half a second and my eyes started wateringHow the fuck are they not blind
>>108857711Reminder that Dark Mode of any kind will fuck up your vision within ~5+ years.Be in a well lit room during the day, get an ambient light for night times, use proper brightness settings with light themes. Also learn how to utilize Night Light and/or f.lux if your device doesn't have Night Light.
>>108857791>Reminder that Dark Mode of any kind will fuck up your vision within ~5+ years.BullshitI am in dark room the whole day and my vision is getting better
>>108857791I read a post saying this over 10 years ago and still have 20/20 vision. My current monitor is an overpriced BenQ programming monitor, I use it in an otherwise dark room with just the monitor backlight with dark mode on and the brightness on whatever setting I feel like having it on and have never had less eye strain despite using it like this for hours without breaks.

>>108857711this but with light theme>>108857734the fucking worst>>108857847>Theme: Dark>Brightness: 100%zoomer mode
>>108858201>zoomer modeFunny thing is it just doesn't really work in reverse. Modern displays even on the lowest brightness settings are still usually pretty bright.
>>108858201>the fucking worstwhy? when it's bright outside I have automatic light mode, when it's dark outside I have automatic dark mode.
