Technology has reached a point where even ten year old computers are still useful, and lots of old computers on the second hand market are competing with new ones and driving down prices. The only issue ARM presents for Linux is needing a custom fucking bootloader for every device because they can't just agree on one standard for everything like x86. FOSS user software is unaffected, however. AArch64 Linux distros are not intended to run on my phone, but I can download and run user binaries for those distros and run them on my phone in termux using proot-distro to install the dependencies.
