Even if we assume 19/20 are charitable and good, the incentives to maximise resource gathering and converting those resources into violence against those that don’t want to engage will just result in the 50 violent elites taking over the 950 non-violent ones. The only reason why peace and rule of law exists in human society is because masses desire rules and general peace and elites only power is in convincing masses. But if you have fully automated drone army, and the only thing you need are mining robots and fully automated factories then there isn’t a reason to not maximise weapons production and conquer as much land to then convert into more weapons production, instead of feeding UBI masses. And given the fact that good chunk of them are freaks who believe in consciousness transfer there is non-zero possibility that Peter Thiel will create evil chatbot with his personality, fool himself into believing it’s him, kill himself and then that evil bot turns into whatever bullshit Yud talks about.
