i was really about to buy one when they announced it coming from a poorfag laptop but then they delayed it and delayed it so i just went and built my own pc running linux and my life has gotten tremendously better

Bringing your steam games to your TV is the obvious pitch. No other device on the market is optimized for this. Most people don't want to build a second PC to attach to their TV and no one wants to move their tower. It solves this by being small, optimized for streaming games from your main PC, and capable enough to run indies on its own.You can obviously use it like a normal mini computer, but it wasn't the main way it was marketed.
