Why do you keep inputting your password to install packages and touch files outside /home and login to your 1 user linux machine that nobody else uses?

windows has an equivalent to this but not having to type in a password makes it too easy for retards or zoned-out people to habitually press continue before considering whether or not it's even a good idea
