Same link, select Ohook option
You can also use Office.com if your needs are very minimal

a windows install should take 15 to 30 minutes not an hour and a half
windows updates should be complete in a few seconds per update not literal minutes to hours
windows should never bother me about ANYTHING shut up and stay out of my way
windows should NEVER change a user made setting for ANY reason again stay out of my way
if i choose to uninstall windows defender stop fucking sneaking it back onto my system i didn't remove it by accident
if you want to fill the OS with " are you sure" pop ups let me tell you to stop showing me them so i can use my computer in peace
windows could be an excellent OS if Microsoft would stop designing it to get in your way and be slow as fuck
>>
>a windows install should take 15 to 30 minutes not an hour and a half
Doesn't it?
>>
>>109050754
no not even if you turn off the forced update they stuck in the middle it still takes a good hour cause of all the shit ads they shove in
>>
>>109050707
a windows install takes 3 minutes on my 10 year old SSD on SATA III
try not being a 3rd world shitskin dumpster diver living in abject poverty on your 20th century 5400 spinning rust pentium iii freetard
>>
>>109050707
Anon I think you're pushing your own experience with a weaker computer and not knowing anything about deeper Windows customization as the objective truth. You aren't gonna have friends in here to circlejerk with unless you just make your own thread.
>>
>>109050765
>ads
no one else's fault except your own for ignoring all advice from everyone and intentionally installing the ads infested version
dumb nigger
you're literally on the same mouthbreathing level as boomers who can't find the any key
>>
>>109050772
>3 minutes
what are you using to bypass all they crap they shove in?
>>
>>109050785
a brain and 3 digit iq to read basic things like the OP
sorry for your loss
>>
>>109050784
the point is the default bog standard install experience should have no ads either it should be an installer and thats it sure i can use an unattend script and it would be a bit faster but there would still be a a lot setup to do afterward
>>
>>109050792
and that leaves me with a harassing dialogue anytime i connect a controller
>use a debloater
if i have to tinker AT ALL i am better off on linux

never seen an ad on w10 and i never will
then again, i'm not a retarded nigger like you
>>
>>109050925
the point is all windows should be like that not just one version and if i have to tinker ill just install linux
>>
>>109050807
So you just want to argue for no reason, glad we got that out of the way.
>>
>>109050942
no im pointing out the myriad of things still wrong with windows that will likely always be wrong cause MS cant do shit right
>>
>>109050939
>if i have to fix one creaky door i may as well build my own house
then fuck off and build your own house then you dumb nigger
you won't though because you're such a retarded nigger you can't figure out how to download an ISO
maybe you should get an iToy,that puts you in a play pen and only allows you to do what they want until you brainwash yourself into thinking you never wanted to do it in the first place, it seems more suitable to drooling retards like you
>>
>>109051046
im literally running Linux as we speak why cant you understand that you dont need to defend windows from legitimate criticism its not going anywhere
>>
>>109051063
>can't figure out basic 1. 2. 3. instructions
>defends being a retard
cry more bitch nigger
in the time you spent crying like a little bitch ITT anyone could've downloaded an ltsc iso and installed in and bypassed all of your self-inflicted nigger retard problems in 5 minutes
>>
>>109051199
the point is not that the problem can be bypassed the point is the problem shouldn't exist to begin with
>>
Is there a way I can use the Windows 11 core but fully unload the reactslop components (don't care if they're still installed, just not taking up any RAM or CPU) and run either the ones from 10 or earlier or 3rd party replacements?
>>
Got a pretty old Acer laptop from 2018-19 that's now crying about expiring secure boot certification. Seems like Acer won't be releasing a bios update for my device and Windows can't update them due to "hardware/firmware limitations". Event Viewer states that the updated certs are available on the device, but an error right before the described one states "A PK-signed Key Exchange Key (KEK) cannot be found for this device"
What do? Would something like Mosby (https://github.com/pbatard/Mosby) fix things? It's not a big deal since I'll probably move to something newer soon enough, but I prefer to get rid of these nagging notifications
>>
>>109050925
is 11 ltsc any decent?
>>
>>109051583
it sucks but if you have a newer intel CPU you need it
>>
>>109051583
Unless you absolutely have to use 11 for some reason, stick to 10 until LTSC 2027, which will probably have the K2 fixes
>>
>>109051543
My older Dell PC also isn't adding a BIOS update to do this properly but I haven't received any nags from Windows about it since I installed the June ESU update, plus the circle is still green over secure boot in security settings.

I have a motherboard from 2020 and I still have no idea if I was supposed to do anything about the whole secure boot key thing
My W10 Enterprise is fully updated with ESU and everything seems to be fine though
>>
>>109051661
I mean like I said, it seems fine to me. No nags about it etc.
>>
>>109051220
>the point is the problem shouldn't exist to begin with
so literally every anti-user anti-intuitive bullshit problem with loonix
>>
>>109051631
>>109051661
My Win10 IoT Enterprise is fully updated as well and I've rebooted my device more than twice since then, so I might be SOL.
It's not a business laptop, so it's likely a situation where my Insyde bios firmware has disabled or locked something that it shouldn't. I'll probably go ask Acer if they're willing to put out a manual solution for older Windows 11-ready devices, though I really doubt it
>>
>>109051678
lnux is free as in not pirated to be free but offered for free windows is sold from Microsoft at 200 dollars a copy if you are expected to pay that much for software it should be problem free and ad free by default
>but i pirated it
that is irrelevant to its price
>>
>>109051728
>my time is worthless
thanks for sharing, now fuck off back to your containment thread
>>
>friendly Windows thread
>Linux cultist jumps in to shit things up
>Linuxfags are shocked people despise them
The thing that never happens happened again, Windows users are at fault.
>>
>>109051857
>my time
it takes 15 to 20 minutes to install cachyOS and im good to go
>>
>>109050952
Sounds like a skill issue. Everything works just fine on my machine. If you want control over everything then loonix is that way, you sound autistic enough to be happier with it anyway.
>>
>>109051876
>it takes 15 to 20 minutes >>109050772
>>
>>109051891
you claim it takes 3 minute i have yet to see proof unless you are restoring from a drive image
>>
>>109051907
>have yet to meet anyone with an ssd
I bet you wouldn't in your 3rd world shithole pajeet.
>>
>>109052033
its well known it takes at least an hour from when you boot the iso to when you have a functioning desktop when you install windows no matter the speed of your drive cause of all the shit they put in the OOTB experience including a mandatory update that takes much longer than it has any right to
>>
>>109050164
feet
>>
why is the recycle bin showing me this instead of the actual filename? I swear to god the last windows update did something to cause this
>>
>>109053606
It actually is a bug that came with the latest update. That name is the binned file's internal name that usually isn't seen, but something in the update broke that and now you can see the internal name. It'll probably be fixed in the July patch.
>>
>>109053606
does microsoft really have no regression checks bros?
>>
gonna be upgrading from an apu to a 9060 xt / 5500x3d soon and I don't know whether to stay on windows 10 or switch to 11
mainly wondering about the changes they've made to xbox mode, game mode, window management, branch prediction, cpu scheduling, anything else like that. will I benefit much from these things with my specs?
and do we know for sure there'll be a 2027 ltsc? >>109051626
>>
>>109053748
It would fit the three year cycle that LTSC seems to have these days that a 2027 would release. And yes you should switch to 11 with these modern parts to get the most out of them. Use LTSC 2024 if you wish then you can in-place upgrade to 2027 when the time comes.
>>
>>109053606
it's the broken ass fucking update, also caused my pc to have some micro freezees for a split second every now and then
>>
>>109053660
these updates they push to mainstream channel are actually beta previews. its gonna keep being like this until 26h2 drops.
>>
>>109053763
>modern parts
that's my concern though, even though the 5500x3d was released a year ago vermeer is ~5 years old and I'm still on 16gb of ddr4
windows 10 has less cpu and memory overhead and it's my impression that 11's optimizations mainly affected newer platforms, and amd less so than intel
>>
>>109053916
I'd just use LTSC 2024 anyway, you can change to 2027 when the time comes.
>>
>>109054437
alright, thanks anon
