Guise how can I best hide the thinkpad branding from my laptops? The logos but also the red on the mouse and buttons. What sort of paint or ink lasts long enough? Do the gray mouse nipples from Dell/HP fit?
>>109059982Blasphemy.
What's the ThinkVantage button supposed to be doing
Is $90 a bad deal for a P50?
>>109061893Seems fine if there's no catch (e.g. bad battery, missing SSD adapters
>>109059453how do I sell my thinkpads I'm sick of it I have like 15 at this point t420, t400, t410, w540, a big fat w700nobody on facebook marketplace wants them
>>109063433how much are you even selling them for
>>109063433ebay. you're unlikely to find collectors of niche old electronics in your local area
>>109063433plebbit has a sub for selling thinkpads
>>109059453I bought a refurbished T480 off eBay with 14" screen, 1920 X 1080 resolution, i5 8th Gen processor, 256gb NVME and 16GB RAM for around $280. Did I win or get jeeted?
>>109064630if its mint condition with at least a 90% battery it sounds fine
>>109064630$200 is the max I'd pay for an 8th gen, irrespective of whether it's full-specced. Even then that's getting into overpriced territory. Prices are confounded due to the whole flash chip shortage situation. A system has more than 16GB and vendors price it "accordingly". Even worse, the fact that morons are actually buying in this market. I suppose I can't blame them, seeing as how this is the new normal.
>>109064945It says the quality is excellent, but I haven’t gotten it yet. >>109065077Yeah, I didn’t see anything in the $100-$200 range besides laptops with missing SSDs and RAM slots.
>>109059982Sticker bombing. My normie coworker is given a HP Dragonfly with pepe the frog stickers all over it.What's the point hiding the nipple though? Thinkpad is a normie laptop, just that only desk jockeys and hospital staff use them.
>>109065131>but I haven’t gotten it yetIt's either going to be really good or really bad.
