You can get magnetic adapters like pricrel (taken from some aliexpress review). There also ones with rotating joints or circular pins so you can rotate them various ways.
I have no idea about any of the designs' long term durability tho

How the fuck does Twitch's browser fingerprinting work? Because it's doing something deeper than just useragent checking. I'm getting an "unsupported browser" error when I try to log in using Floorp 11, which reads as Firefox 149. Their shitware only supports "the two latest versions of Firefox and Google Chrome and the most recent versions of Safari, Edge and Opera". So I switch my useragent to Chrome 147, current is 149 and the extension hasn't updated. Doesn't work. Safari current version is 26, switch to that, still doesn't work.

So I load up Chromium, current build just downloaded, version 151...doesn't fucking work. The only thing I can get to work is Opera, and I don't much want to have to use a separate browser just to get free shit from having streams on in the background.

On openbsd and I can't figure out why my flash drives are maxing out at 750kB/s
It's actually faster to network files off to another pc. Happens for both fat and exfat. It also won't connect to my portable 2.5 hdd. port disabled.
Same hardware worked fine with a few linux distros like mint, and some puppy flavours, I think I'll test it with freebsd next. it's older hardware so I wasn't expecting much but usb1 speeds are unexpected.
Nothing really comes up on the dmesg I can pin it to.

Good books for learning networking? I don't know how it works. I can watch a lecture like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3b_TAYtzuho
and get the dynamic but this isn't something I can apply. I want to have a practical understanding. I also wouldn't mind an understanding more fundamental than just using it, but I'm not exactly looking to know how I can say, build physical hardware for networking's sake, at least, not right now.

I've got an OLED steam deck that I use docked to my LG OLED tv. When HDR is enabled on both, the TV monitor will occasionally flash black and then come back on after a second or two, displaying the HDR logo in the top right corner. A horizontal line of what appears to be static will also flicker across the screen on occasion. Disabling HDR seems to make all of this shit stop, but that's basically the main reason as to why I bought this tv. I've connected to my computer monitor and there are no issues there. I've tried changing the resolution/refresh rate in desktop mode and the issue persists.
Does anyone have any advice with what else I could try?
>>
>>109101540
Also, we recently moved to a different part of the country. At our last house, I never noticed these issues when using the exact same deck and tv. Could it be possible that this house isn't getting enough/the same amount of power or something?

Do you have a HDMI 2.1 certified cable? If it's HDMI 2.0 or older it doesn't have enough bandwidth for 4k 120hz HDR.

I always just used a desktop PC with ATH-M50x's but I need some portable ear buds/etc to listen to music, watch youtube, etc waiting around now. Something that doesn't let other people hear what I'm listening to ideally, sounds OK at least for youtube videos/audio books with bonus points for light music listening (90's alternative, nu-metal, etc). Phone is a Samsung A53 with no dedicated jack (Just USB-C and bluetooth), I don't wanna fuck with a USB-C to 2.5mm dongle. My ears also tend not to fit the ear buds I've tried (the old Apple 5S ones and whatever came with the Samsung S10E I don't think any of them have interchangeable tips though), they always fall out, I'm guessing they are too big. Something easy to throw in a commuter bag too and semi-durable for transport.

Budget is $~30-50.

I need a new chromium browser that supports Windows 7.
I currently use the last Win7 version of normal chrome, it's really old and websites are starting to have compatibility issues. Twitter just logged me out and it won't allow me to log back in, just saying something went wrong but it's not my fault. (which is a retarded error message since it's precisely the fault of my browser.)

Regardless, i need to be able to transfer over my data, my bookmarks and such, and it needs to be able to work with Ublock Origin.
Is supermium good?
What would be easiest though, is if anyone knows if there's a workaround that would allow me to log into twitter without going through the normal process.

I don't understand how the concept of plagiarism works in programming? In english you can reword a sentence and it's not considered plagiarism (not by plagarism detection softwares anyway) but in programming if you do the same thing it gets detected as plagarism by plagarism detection software. So what's plagarism then in programming? I don't fucking understand this shit. Not to mention that in programming there's no where near the amount of ways you can write something in a different manner compared to english and also for the fact that you start learning english the moment you are born. With programming it's not the case and you also need to programming in multiple languages.

>go to bed last night, PC fine
>come home from work today, PC having problems
>AMD adrenaline stuck in an update loop even after fresh reinstall
>PC not picking up my second monitor at all
>reading that windows updates can fuck with drivers and may have overwritten something but windows did not update for me so it seems to be out of the blue
please tell me there's a way to fix this shit that doesn't involve a new GPU, monitor, or both? I have a dummy monitor in my closet I'm going to try out to see but man I do not have the money or patience for PC issues right now

dummy monitor was a bust, new motherboard doesn't have the old fashioned connector and I don't have any others. Any insight would be very helpful

Is it possible to export the Optical Character Recognition data generated by the Files by Google app (pic related) used when text searching, or is there another free OCR program of a similar quality?

no idea about that google thing, but you can OCR good quality images quickly using tesseract, and difficult images slowly using VLM like gemma via llama.cpp.

What’s a reliable Linux supporting antivirus for scanning downloaded files?
I want to do some piracy of comic pdfs and download stls and maybe some Adobe stuff if any of it works.
But I fear infecting my pc.

Apparently it's called "smart search", still not sure how to export its results, though

Winamp has just suddenly lost a huge amount of volume for some reason
I play a file in Winamp (volume 100% as usual) and you can barely hear it but I play the same file in mpv or mpc-hc and it sounds normal volume
What could have caused this, it only started happening in the last few days, I've been using Winamp for like 20 years
I already reinstalled Winamp but it didn't make a difference

Is a "Nothing" phone better than OnePlus phones if I am anti-bloatware and anti-forced software (like that Samsung store slop)

Apparently Windows, after all these years, had decided to suddenly set Winamp's volume in the Windows Volume Mixer (which I never knew existed) to just 13% while leaving every other audio/video player at 100%????
Fucking ridiculous
