What clipboard manager for KDE on Wayland doesn't suck? CopyQ is buggy as shit on Wayland unless you install bizarre dependencies like some random fuck's Rust package and the build-in Kilpper gets basic shit wrong like clicking on an item in the clipboard menu not pasting.

Trying to get rid of gtk2.
Only things that remains are Xsane and nitrogen. For nitrogen looks like feh is the best alternative, for Xsane I did not find anything with simmilar feature parity.
What do you use/recommend?
>>
>>109113346
I use naps2, it's a bit buggy but it does what I need

If you use input method framework, they can include clipboard manager
>>

>input method framework
Never heard of it.
>>
>>109113395
newer mind then.
There are also project that integrate clipboard history into menu launchers like Greenclip etc.

thought about spinning up fvwm is xlibre a meme or do you recommend it over the x in the official repo at this point
>>

just use copyq with the right flags, or learn to live with the bugs

Look good, thanks

just use simple-scan like everyone else and stop overthinking it
>>

Outside of GNOME features are considered a good thing.
>>
>>109113431
I've tried xlibre with a VM and didn't have any problems with it. I still use X11 with my main install because I have no reason to switch yet.
>>
>>109113431
>is xlibre a meme
if it's in your repos, use it. as it stands it just offers improvements. if it's NOT packaged by your distro, you should probably only install it once you absolutely need to.

Apparently that Windows hubbub about boot keys expiring soon also affects Linux too?

I just learned about
man environment.d

I've been just using .profile to set up my environment, is there any reason to not do that?

you can separate into files and its better if you use a fuckload of variables for different things

So is Ubuntu just going to handle it or do I need to specifically do something or....?

As far as I know it is, I use it with fvwm.

From my experience, xlibre is fine as long as you don't use it with complex window managers such as compiz, I experienced many segfaults when I ran compiz with xlibre. I've also tried xlibre with TDE but i experienced a bug where the display manager would crash upon logging out. Generally it seems xlibre is more unstable and prone to segfaulting, however it really depends on your setup, it seems xlibre runs really well on XFCE and MATE from my tests.

What a strange choice by the Debian guys.

debian really only support gnome, even kde some of the devs migrated to arch

Hey guys, I am trying to run a 32-bit GOG game on Trisquel 12. I have been able to install most of the required 32-bit libraries, but it seems that the version of libssl that provided "libcrypto.so.1.0.0" is no longer available in the Ubuntu or Debian repositories. What am I generally supposed to do here?
>>
>>109114816
>Trisquel 12
>>
>>109114816
didn't search hard enough, try libssl1.0.0_1.0.2n-1ubuntu5.13_i386.deb
>>
>>109114816
Do this but be aware that it has security vulnerabilities so when you are done with the game delete it, if you want to keep it "forever" consider taking Trisquel 12 offline:
wget http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/o/openssl1.0/libssl1.0.0_1.0.2n-1ubuntu5.10_amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i libssl1.0.0_1.0.2n-1ubuntu5.10_amd64.deb
>>
>>109114816
can't you just use the windows version and proton?
>>
>>109114816
Run the Windows version in wine.
>but there isn't
Make an Ubuntu 18.04 container.
>>
>>109114816
Find an old library >>109114948 and do LD_PRELOAD
