I unironically stopped hoarding memes and just search yandex for "smug apu frog".
>>
why do wintoddlers feel so comfortable posting here all-of-asudden?
>>
I don't but I use a bash alias to move everything I download from here to move everything to their respective folders
alias mvpic='cd ~/Downloads; mv *.jpg *.png *.gif *.webp ~/Pictures; cd -'
alias mvvid='cd ~/Downloads; mv *.webm *.mp4 *.mov *.mkv ~/Videos; cd -'
And both use 2>/dev/null for the errors
and they echo "Moved ____ to ~/_____ successfully!"

I'm actually in the process of sorting through my massive meme folders, I just do it by topic. I actually did the same thing with "reactions" that you did.
>>
>>109121476
is there a booru for memes? it has become more and more difficult to find them on Google, especially when they're politically incorrect.
>>
>>109121476
What I really want is a software that can tag images and use some sort of image recognition to properly label them. My folders have all gotten well big enough that the only proper way to find things at this point is if I've actually named the file something I can search up.
Feels like this sort of thing would actually be a use-case for AI but I also wouldn't trust AI within a hundred feet of my precious folders lol

I need to up my meme game

He's probably a kid or a teenager just like. Why don't you faggot try to use words such as 'nigger' or something. Even your zoomer ebonics insults are weak like wet noodles.
Fuck you retard.

there is some software that sometimes gets shilled here on /g/ for this exact purpose. Hydrus or something its called i think. Basically drop the folders entirely and use tags instead.

I put everything like memes in one big folder, and then I create subfolders for the "tags". The tag folder contains shortcuts to the files in the big folder. This is good because a file can have more than one tag.

right click drag and drop the file "create shortcut here" into the relevant folder.
>>

Just put tags at the end of the filename before the extension.
I also like to make sure my files all start with a timestamp so they sort into time-order by default. like:
TIMESTAMP_filename_tags=tag1+tag2+tag3+tag4.jpg
There is no realistic filename limit in modern OSes that would prevent tagging files like this, unless you plan to put thousands of tags on each file.

I give my files long descriptive names and use plocate for immediate lookup.

i have 26 folders one for which letter of the alphabet. i give a name to each file i save and store in one of the 26 folders. i have most of these names memorized in any case so i just search for what i need
