Is it ethical, morally, technically correct if I took a github repo of a program I really like but has been broken for at least 5 years, and the las commit was 2 years ago and didn't fix anything, and modified with Claude to make it run and add some features I wanted? Last time I compiled it, it wouldn't even open.I really like the program but I feel like using AI offends certain people on the interweb. Was I wrong or not?
