Not a thing, Intel suffers from the same shit AMD does, they don't have enough market share for devs to give a fuck about them. Gane devs develop and test their games on Nvidia and then at the last minute they'll boot it up on AMD and if it works then good enough. Intel gets even less consideration than that and is relegated to last on the priority list.

Furmark will cause most video cards to downclock @ stock settings.
He could overclock & undervolt the video card, but all it takes is one obscure game to crash an unstable GPU tuning.
It's better to leave the video card at stock settings if he's planning to sell the PC.
I'd worry about finding a buyer for a $2000+ PC with a Radeon card.

I drove an hour to go to a microcenter because they had 9070XT open box for like 550$. I checked to make sure it was there before I drove there, and when I got there it was already sold. What a waste of two hours.

This Thermalright software makes the CPU run 5C to 7C hotter at all times. Holy shit, that's bad. So glad I didn't put any of this stuff in my own build.
>>
>pay $1,300 for a motherboard

Yeah I know I'll never see it but I'm still kind of mad about it. Finishes, in general, it doesn't really matter what the object is; just seem to never last outside of their careful packaging.
>>
>>109268087
My point is people are more likely to sit out of this little hobby for a few years than pay that much for a PC with a Radeon card.
But you only need to find one legitimate buyer, so GL.
>>
>>109268155
You're a retard, he's selling to normies on Facebook marketplace not to enthusiasts, normies don't know shit and will literally only ask can it run fortnite/Minecraft/CoD. He'll easily find a seller unless he lives in bumfuck nowhere.
>>
>>109268201
You are the retard.
He needs to find someone willing to pay $2,600 for a gaymen PC in cash, that price point severely reduces his addressable buyer.
Normies also know NVIDIA/GeForce is the desirable brand.
If not, these normies will usually ask their knowledgeable friends before committing to a four-figure gaymen purchase.
You think NVIDIA built up this much market share from enthusiasts?

$800 isn't $2,600.

SK Hynix shares dropped more than 15% in South Korea on Monday, their biggest one-day fall in almost 20 years, just days after the company’s successful Nasdaq debut.

The biggest reason was that many investors decided to sell their shares and take profits after the stock had gone up so much this year because of the AI boom. Some analysts also say growth in AI memory chip demand may not be as fast as expected.

The sell-off also pushed down the rest of the market, with Samsung Electronics shares falling and South Korea’s Kospi index dropping.

This is it, I'm done with Microslop Windows and I'm beyond PISSED OFF.

Windows automatically installed and turned on Screenshots and screen recording without asking my permission to do so grabbing my:

- My passwords
- My banking log in's
- Everything

I've disabled it now and deleted all the images is captured, but who knows if it is a system process that will quietly get turned on in the background next update and I sure as hell don't want to have to constantly check to see if it's on.

This is a COMPLETE pain in the ass, but starting with my laptop and soon my desktop, I'm done with Microsoft for good.

Linux Mint, here I come.

I'm upgrading my wife's 8th gen i3 computer and keeping the ram and psu and her 6600 gpu. Just getting her the case she wants and an itx am4 board and a ryzen 5500. She was getting 48fps in fucking valheim. I figure like $180 to go from 4 threads 4 cores to 12 threads 6 cores plus the $100 gimmick case and it will feel like a brand new computer for her. Honestly it kind of will be. May not be as drastic as when I went from a 4th gen i7 to a 3600 but it will probably be pretty close to that jump. I'm also giving her an nvme as she had a boot sata ssd before. When am6/ddr6 comes out I'll replace the old machine in this case and color match and all that.
