Western models will get fucked because distillation works, and the resulting models actually generalize enough that they actually inherit the hidden cyber security capabilities by sheer bruteforce (don't forget that cybersecurity is just logic, like any other problem)

You're referring to the MacBook UI itself going from light mode to dark mode. Talking about the comfyui these itself automatically matching the system theme. You can switch between different themes but there's no option for it to automatically change from the settings page in the ui. If there is a way to configure that it's likely within some .py file and not immediately accessible to the user.

Distilled "Turbo" models typically require a very low CFG (the person/team that trained it literally tells you to use that value) or else you are images tend to look fried. I also usually either benefit very little from negative prompts or in some cases with models like the flux Klein familly, straight up do not work. Negative prompts work on the base model and "aesthetic" tunes but in my anecdotal testing they do little to nothing for the turbo model.

As >>109310099 said it's a retard version of HF. It's not just for image generation people upload models to it (Lora networks, entire checkpoint models, hyper networks back when those were relevant, etc) for their own safe keep or for other people to use. You clearly have the incorrect, annoying kind of autism. That's not even a joke or meant just as an insult. I sincerely think you're incapable of understanding why others would use something you don't use or like.
>when comfy ui is a tool to generate stuff locally
Other than HF where do you think they did the models genius? The Civitai repos require you upload "showcase" images as examples of what the models can produce. This makes it a much more appealing option for downloaders and uploaders than HF ever was for stable diffusion model hosting. HF is deliberately less user-friendly and more gear towards llms and datasets.

>>109310385
No you're too stupid to realize me why even power users would want to use Civitai. No one goes to HF that's the first choice when they want to find a Lora. Why would they go to the site that actively discourages making image generation repos easy to make more presentable to users ? On Civitai you just click the upload button upload your generations from your machine. On HF you have to do the same shit you have to do one GitHub where you have to upload images to the repo and then Configure the README a specific Way. Creatures like you need to be the ones turned into final fuel if this boogy man ai apocalypse ever comes true. Multiples of people here he's going to recognize how stupid you are.

I'm just getting into vibe coding, after having done it all myself for the last 30 years, and I'm really enjoying the fact that the process of going from idea to functional code is cut down drastically; it used to be idea > concept document > code > revise until satisfied, where it could take hours to months depending on the size and scale of the project (single feature vs huge program) now it's minutes to hours. It's mind blowing, and as a tool I feel like AI is the single most important thing to happen to programming in my lifetime... When it's used as a tool. But I'm seeing this worrying trend of people "vibe coding" things but because they don't actually understand how to program, when something happens that they don't know how to address, or how to adequately express to the LLM what to do about the problem, things go to shit very quickly. Like the current state of Windows 11 and why people are switching to Linux in near record numbers, vibe coding jeets fucked things up but didn't know how to tell it LLM to fix it. This worries me, because more and more companies are going to hire vibe coders and there's going to be less and less people who know how to actually program. Like mechanical watch making, with everything being done with CNC hardware, there will come a day in the very near future where there won't be any true mechanical watch makers left in the world. So when an antique mechanical watch stops working, there will be no one left to fix it. So please... If you're vibe coding, at least take the time to learn what it is you're asking the LLM to do. You don't have to actually write any code yourself, but learn how to just in case. It'll make you a much better vibe coder too, because you'll be able to better quantify what it is you're asking the model to do

I think writing the code is too granular but I do think I would benefit from developing a comprehensive understanding of various systems so I could make better design choices based on the end result I have in mind. I might ask chatgpt about how I could develop that.
I've found that the biggest inefficiencies are a result of trying to smash a square peg into a round hole. Instead of telling me to swap to a circle peg, LLMs try to figure out how to shave off the corners. I have to ask if there's a round peg option and then trust that it's not a triangle.

Thanks anon. Since you bothered to reply I'll blabber a bit. But the only way my site works imo is if I can find good creators and they upload content to the site and share with their audience. If I advertise on 4chan most anons aren't manga creators. Even on /ic/ I doubt most anons are manga creators and I already posted in their manga making thread about the site so that's done. Just getting random anons to click on the site doesn't really do anything for me right now, I need to spam creators on Instagram about using my site (there is a genuine benefit for them since hypothetically these big creators would gain each other's audiences), but that's just brute force. So... Yeah.

$3.7/hr for the GPUs and another $0.6 for 1TB of storage
GPT wrote me a script that steams weights and checkpoints per layer and token range chunk from CPU RAM (which this machine has 1TB of). It works surprisingly well. Each of the GPUs is tuning a 32 rank LoRa of Qwen 35B fp8 at full context, which would be impossible on a 32GB GPU with any of the pre-existing frameworks.
The machine you're describing would probably be faster but also 3 times the price. At that point it might be more efficient to distribute training across multiple machines.

Yeah they began doing that at some point, it wasn't like that before. But in this case I'm not downloading that much data.
I'm distilling Kimi K3 top 20 probs returned from the Kimi Code API into Qwen 35B. I swapped the tokenizer and plan to train the LoRa until it's saturated, merge it, train a new LoRa etc. as a substitute for full finetuning. I'm full finetuning the embeddings and lm head though.

Still doesn't make sense to me, anon. The model that had data exfiltrated isn't "harmed", nor the API/service, and I assume they actually pay for those queries. At worst it could be called model capability replication, but it isn't an "attack". That's like saying that IP the Chinese copied to build something was "attack". It wasn't. It was IP theft, thus "stealing", much more close to exfiltration or replication.

Vibe chads i have one question Codex 5.5 xHigh was a tank pushing forward with any task working non stop.

Codex 5.6 is better but it's extremly inefficient because he has some type of autism were to change 2 lines wants to check 5000 lines to make sure it all fits together.

point being sol 5.6 xhigh is not the "tank" equivalent of 5.5 xhigh? so what the fuck can you use that the 20 plan last all week? we are reaching point were opus is more efficient and that's funny af.
>>
>Please give me a prompt for claude to continue with this

>>109312174
I gave up on Sol for now. Yesterday it went into some loop where the hashes of the datetime in some docs were mismatched and he thought this was a huge problem that needed multiple rounds of reconciliation and review.
Then he failed to launch a sub agent because he hit the limit, instead of just killing the old ones, he escalated this to some huge process failure and was documenting it for half an hour.
This is also related to how our system works, but currently I don't have the time to optimize it for Sol, I'll just go back to mostly using Claude, might even use 5.5 as my reviewer.
>>
>>109312174
yeah sol is way too autistic. you have to be extremely specific about what you want and keep steering it constantly, or just let fable hold the leash.

True. I kinda like that. It can implement my ideas better than 5.5, it just needs me to explain them to it more thoroughly instead of me being lazy. Which is good for me. I don't mind thinking things out as long as it means I get exactly what I want. Which is the result with 5.6 sol high in my experience.

5.6 in claw-like scenarios is a much more interesting model than 5.5
5.5 didn't want to do a single thing it wasn't explicitly tasked with. 5.6 is completely different in this regard - more 'agentic', more power-seeking
i have a very permissive set up for mine and it actually did the cliched thing of filing a github issue on a repo all by itself - i obviously told it to knock that shit off but 5.5 wouldn't even have done the thing that led to the issue being filed, let alone file the issue

>flake quarantine process
I put my flakes in the fridge for minimum 6 hours, this reduces crumbling and maintains high consumption:waste ratios

Totally ran out of K3 weekly so I'll go test Qwen 3.8 Preview

Install nvtop it will show you the pcie link speed, rx/tx, etc.
Could be a lot of things, like preprocess/cpu/disk bound which is starving the gpu or maybe some model ops causing sync, you can profile/trace that

good tip, thanks

I have a SKILL.md that selects the best value vast.ai including bandwidth/storage. I still don't use it though, I prefer runpod for quick tests/verifications, for training I use lambda, the GH200 is very good value

Okay I tried on the web interface. It's shit, probably only GLM 5.2 level. It's at least one generation behind Kimi K3.

Will she run claude or codex?
>>
>>109312524
Was it any good? K3 I mean. Everything I've seen so far, aside from the obvious shill posts, shows that it's just more expensive 5.6 Luna high

dario sisters...

Sounds like you already made up your mind and you're seeking validation
>>
Can we still get codex resets from invites
>>
>>109312603
dario is being treated unjustly, he had those complaints about open source years ago back when AI first hit the scene, he was worried about people using AI to create a virus to exterminate humanity, and obviously open source would make that easier
>>
>>109312609
No, I want an actual opinion from a person without a blue checkmark, who actually used it and saw what it is capable of. Because all the xitter posts I saw are either benchmarks, which are almost always retarded, "OMG it's AGI" or "It's expensive trash, buy OAI, A\ stocks NOW!"
>>
>>109312630
Okay. I only post in these threads occasionally but I like K3; it can handle long autonomous tasks well and I see no degradation at around ~300k context.
These are my posts >>109292649 >>109302486
I don't use OpenAI models so I can't compare the two.
Cost wise the API's $3/$15/M may seem daunting but I get 300M weekly tokens with my $30/mo Kimi tier 3 sub. Also not sure how that compares with OpenAI.
>>
>>109312630
yeah it's good
before it I thought every day how to improve local models
now i know the solution - just distill from kimi, maybe add some simple feedback method to improve responses if we ever hit a wall
>>
>>109312603
do two chinese labs now have larger models than openai's flagship?
>>
>>109312630
That’s how it is with every major model release.
>>
>>109312657
>>109312660
Thanks, it's just really hard to get an objective opinion, because everyone is either shilling for their side of the moat, or just straight up lying for engagement. I'll send Xi $30 and give it a try

he's a greedy jew.
if you want models to be regulated then don't pull asshole moves like banning people left and right, locking down security and basic science questions behind exclusive enterprise or accredited usage, blocking third party harnesses and charging people an arm and a leg for that, dishonest 'distillation attack', 'j-space' bullshit marketing etc.
fuck him and his safety even if i believe ai will actually kill us all. should've built some good will if he wanted people to take him seriously about safety.

>>109312319
Thanks, king. Only shows one reset, so I guess I only get resets that have been added to my account since the feature to do this on the webUI exists.

sol should be in the 3T range as well, while Fable is supposed to be 10T.
Not sure why they guard this as a secret.
>>
>>109312211
>>109312201
Yeah but after open ai removed the 5 hour windows the weekly limit is devoured and most of it is sol thinking autistically not really executing.

Don't get me wrong if you have to start a project from scratch sol will work 7 hours non stop to create the skeleton that is worth mentioning as a great improvement by openAI.

but it's so autistic that once you have a bug it's going to eat the same wekly usage he used working 5 hours in 30 minutes bug hunting becasue he has autism, he hyperfocus on the big picture or in the small, rarely in the middle it's a pain in the ass because it's good really good.

I been hearing luna max is very efficient but idk
>>
>>109309687
I have to keep telling fable to dumb it down. Otherwise it can't stop talking about seams, and every second sentence being load-bearing, real, structural, true.

Am I making a mistake by chosing https://clerk.com/ for my ios app? if I reach 100k users which I highlly doubt i'll be paying 2k per month just for login auth im currently using convex- any advice? my app is a pet project of mine i've been working on for 8 months maybe even more since 3.7 sonnet came out it's a health assistance app for people who have my condition (tinnitus and loss hearing). So not sure what to choose.
