why not just put all the worlds data centers in a giant data center and store it in antarctica and plug it into a giant solar panel and then also power the air conditioners from that to keep the arctic cool and then the weather stabilizes and everything is hunky dory

Because the entities in Antarctica would not have it and destroy everyone and everything there, and then the government would have to come up with an elaborate story about catastrophic system failures. And it'd rile up the truthers.
