thoughts on musl (based distros)?
>>109336163musl sucks
Why is Qt so ass in hiDPI?It is literally 2026 and I still cannot make context menu open up in the right place in hiDPI scaled Qt apps. I have been suffering this for over 5 years already. It can't be that hard goddammit
>>109327258>im not on plasma so i dont know if those settings actuallyThey do not exist
Alright /fglt/, I'm going to update my kernel.
>>109336873Noooo don't do it
Rocky Linux
Any alternatives to arch? I grow bored of it being barely held together by tape. Is there something with a similar level of control though?
>>109337026nixos
>>109337028Are the flakes necessary for full reproducibility?
>>109337026Void linux is literally Arch linux that never breaks, I have been using it for 3 years now, full rolling release, none of the monthly Arch everything breaks situation
>>109337041>flakes necessaryYeah? Only started using it cause I wanted stylix and apple music client. Think you absolutely need it for declaring flatpaks and overlays? - package modification/flags? Only been using nixos for last couple of months.
my GnuPG still doesn't resolve hostnames. For not I worked around the issue by resolving keyserver and providing the IP. But I want to provide the URL again.I think my resolved and nsswitch are configured correctly and everything else ses to be able to correctly look up names just GnuPG seems to fail unless being given an IP instead of a name. Why?
>>109336163I ran Alpine for years. Musl is ok. From time to time you'll run into things that just don't work.Glibc is honestly really underrated. It's not that musl is bad it's that so much effort has been put into Glibc and it just works and does everything you want (except static linking which you probably don't actually want anyway.)
>>109336251>hiDPI?I have a hiDPI display and I solve this by setting it to a sane resolution with xrandr.
