Is there any way to test if your pc is causing power surges/outages? I reset up my itx pc the other day and my power flickered on like 3 or 4 different occasions throughout the week. My full sized atx build is way more powerful than it with an even larger watt power supply and the power has never flickered while using it.
Dunno whether to think it was a coincidence or if it actually was the itx pc.

I'm looking to build a 16 player Nucleus Coop rig for dark souls 1 tier graphics games. I think it may be possible with 8 gpus which means I need a threadripper for the necessary lanes. How important is l3 cache? Chatgpt says I could have problems with cache thrashing even if I have enough cores. Also, most mobos have 7 pcie16 slots max. I could use 8 x8 slots or more with a pro threadripper since most pcie5.0 gpus can only utilize half the bandwidth.

How are multi monitor setups still such a flawed and buggy mess all these years later, I swear to fucking god. You run a game borderless fullscreen and if your scaling is higher than 100% in the windows display settings then it runs the game at the scaled resolution and not the actual resolution. You run the game full screen and the rendered resolution is correct but either the game window bleeds out to the other displays or completely rearranges every window on the other monitors. You run a video full screen on another monitor and it causes artifacting issues or some sort of lag or tearing.
I'm about to just run one monitor and use a tablet for anything else I need. What a fucking joke.

Buy a PSU with more wattage headroom then turn the zero-fan mode on, the PSU will probably never spin its fan even if you play games or stress your PC some other way. My Montech Titan Gold 850W starts its fan only when my 9070XT asks for extra ~200W when I launch a game, but even at that point I hear only CPU fans spinning.

I upsized from an NR200 when I upgraded my GPU and PSU in november. I just didn't want to shell out extra for a new 750w sfx PSU to power my new 9070xt when I could snag a good 1000w ATX psu and case for about the same price. (Montec Century II and Jonsbo d32 Pro). My PC is way quieter and cooler after transplanting my components to my new case. The cable management is better and I can fit four more case fans to run at lower rpm. If I could go back in time I'd tell myself to not pay the ITX tax and just build an M-ATX PC instead.

The A3 is overhyped. It gets shilled unconsciously because it's popular, but it has a lot of pain points for a case that might be a deal breaker for people. Here's some that were definitely dealbreakers for me.

I searched and searched all the M-ATX options until I stumbled on the jonsbo d32 pro. I actually compared the dimensions on a site between all the cases before making my choice.

I was considering Lian Li A3 but bought Asus AP201 eventually and thanked myself many times for the right decision. It's big enough to put inside a 2.5 SSD, a 3.5 HDD, lay a lot of cables comfortably while not restricting airflow. A3 asks for compromises while not being that much smaller than AP201.
