>>109420129Depends. I've had discs with reallocated sectors and some unrecoverable sectors before. Modern HDDs are pretty good at isolating them. I have used them for years after that with no other problems and some are still used now. If it's a one time thing than you can probably risk it if you have a good and verifiable backup. My firewall automatically blocks everything from WAN. I also have VPS hired in Germany, which has been running Openvpn instance for over 3 years, but i didn't make this connection a gateway because of high latency and noticable drop in internet speed.

What's a good 120mm high cfm high static pressure fan? I have some p12s on the front of my 4u case and they really don't seem to do much despite the opening being practically unobstructed besides the grating. Noise isn't a huge concern as long as it's not 40mm jet engine territory, and preferably for $10 or less each (need 3). Bonus if there they have 80 mils in the same product lineup because I could use 2 or 3 of those too.

Downside is getting vpns to work can be kinda fucky (I just run a separate clearnet qbt container just for mam), some torrents are locked behind vip which itself is account age, ratio and upload locked (4 weeks, 2:1, 25gb but you can buy credit with points), and you are required to log into your account every couple of months even if you are actively seeding and download (not a huge deal since you need to spend your points anyway).
