Usually they're very stable tho.3080 is getting somewhat old and can have shit paste, you might want to change them to phase change pad + thermal putty for better thermals. So apart from those you can reinstall windows. Do hardware tests to see if ssd has faults, does ram perform normally. DDU nvidia drivers. If its psu or mobo hardware faults then you'd just replace them as they're not super expensive. you could upgrade to am5 mobo with 5800x3d and keep the old ram.

>>109552863It's the second fastest gaming GPU atm. 5090 is considered AI gadget because 32GB of VRAM are pretty useless in gaming. 5080 is only little faster at same VRAM size.
>>109557019no, it doesn't. No headset in your price range has the sound quality of mine. Do you even understand how speakers work? The size of the driver establishes a baseline of quality you cannot overcome with good design. Also i've owned quite a few gamer headsets of all price ranges over the years. Including a steelseries one, i liked it too, but the bad circuitry was annoying, adjusting the volume knob became a big chore, as the sound would cut in and out.

>>109557208The markdown link says the use case:>Purpose: 24/7 storage server for market data tape (OPRA, SIP, etc.) archived in compressed binary format, serving a Mac Studio workstation over direct 10GbE. TrueNAS SCALE, 6-drive RAIDZ2.And the budget is on the cheaper side. I don't have a hard number since I don't know how much this stuff cost. But I don't think I need performant hardware since it's just acting as a data warehouse, like a glorified external hard-drive.
>>109552087> is something wrongProbably suboptimal cooling. It's not bad but could be better. Install an ALF3 Pro 420 with Duronaut thermal paste. My 9950X3D never scratches 80°C under prolonged all core load.

>>109557041The only PSUs I know of are from Zippy which can apparently deliver 60a from 5V. They are used in 45Drive enclosures. However if you are having problems than it's unlikely it's the power supply as HDDs rarely consume more than 1 amp from 5V even at peak. The system shouldn't need that much 5v either.I have 13 HDDs in a system and they are perfectly reliable. Even have 11 on a single cable.I would check your cables if you are using any type of splitter/extensions. I had a bad Molex splitter feeding a hot swap cage that made the HDDs randomly shut off.

>>109557260yeah that's why I want a fuck huge air cooler, I just prefer the simplicity of it. I have an AIO in the tower and occasionally I can hear it and its annoying. I'm fine with a slight undervolt / wattage cap to hit 80c or so. These chips go up to 95c anyway

>>109558083maybe not a single series but they produce tons of crappy animes. There are like 40 or 50 animes every season and they started to adapt even the biggest shit as they run out of material. You have at best a handful of shows that are watchable each season but even the better ones don't shine a lot of times in terms of animations. Instead of becoming better with the technology improving they became worse. They don't even care if you can see the 3d models sometimes but at least the animations itself are somewhat better then... sometimes at least
