Is there something I can use old equipment for? I have some very low voltage sff/nuc type things. Is there like an OS I can just load on one, plug it into my router, and it basically acts like ublock for my home network? I have a more powerful one with an i3 that came with a VESA mount, so planning on putting it on the TV and using it as an emulator for old games.

I haven't downloaded and gone through all the new features (my offline server has like a 10 year old FreeNAS build on it). What's a decent archive manager for *buntu for torrented zip files? I want to right-click the archives and extract them into directories with the same name, like with 7zip on windows. Can't seem to do this with engrampa.

I think with this new build i can kill 2, maybe 3 birds with one stone. Host forjejo, openldap (or perhaps 389 directory server) and AdGuardHome (effectively replacing a bananapi r3 mini that i used to host all that), and in a Fedora Server 44 VM on my home desktop i built out OBS v31.1.2 using cmake and confirmed i can replace a windows 10 LTSC build that hosts a 24/7 animal livestream (ubuntu has weird ass quirks specifically related to RTSP copyright that were clearly not know to fedora). I think instead of apache i'll go with nginx and a wsgi api server. I plan to hack that horizontal pci adapter to accept an intel Arc A310 Eco for help with emby and use the SYCL/OpenVINO backend to host a llamaguard 1b model that i otherwise outsource to openai and they randomly decomission models which is annoying.I guess thats all an "i hope this works" kind of speculation but successfully building out a very specific obs studio version for fedora server and getting things to function has given me unusually high confidence that the overall objective will succeed and if not, well at least i killed 2 birds with 1 stone instead of 3
