What does the next Apple CEO have to do with /pcbg/?
8GB RAM is not enough.
>>
>>109699276
that's just apple quality, I do the same on a 4GB linux VM and I get maybe a few GB of swap writes per day. I do use tab unloading tho.

why does ethernet driver settings affect your fps so much god damn

what’s it like having a 5090

I don't know why people hate Intel's Big Little approach. Sure, the implementation is rather ass, but it's getting better and it makes sense if you think about it. It's all about getting the scheduler right, and once you do, you run all the smaller background tasks that idle, yet still take up some CPU cycles to process, to E-cores, which reduces the power draw on idle, but more importantly, free up the P-cores for the heavier tasks like gaming, meaning that you'll get more performance out of the P-cores by the merit of them essentially being used only by the game process while every system background task runs on the E-cores. AMD could try and do the same and I'm sure it would be beneficial in the long run.

intel can't even make them work on linux
they needed a whole new os from microsoft to make them somewhat work

Something like zen 6 with a 12 cpu would be more appealing
it'll have 32 threads, if games are bottlenecked there something is wrong
