Fucked up ordering everything at the same time. It's been a week and I have boards and keycaps but the most important part the switches are nowhere in sight. Anyone ever ordered from Akko before? They sent me some bullshit message saying my address was incorrect a few days ago. I double checked and it wasn't I even checked with my post office and I sent it to them again but I haven't heard anything back yet. You don't need to start with a barebones, they aren't that much cheaper. Just get the V6 max and if you want custom switches and keycaps than you can pull out the ones already in it and keep those as a backup. It will give you some extra practice which can't hurt either.

Today I fucked around with my F122 a little more, added larger diameter o-rings since smaller diameter ones would slip through the mounting holes/screws, and these ones should sit firmly between the case and the assembly, and added a tad bit more polyfill in the top where I could still add it. I think the o-rings helped quite a bit as now I don't think there's the same hollow sound and it sounds about the same when on desk as it does while on a towel.The really annoying bit about adding the o-rings are the top screws with the extra nuts that push the assembly in a little so that it's properly aligned with the case, most of the time when I tried to tighten those I would end up tightening the nut to the assembly plate and not screw into the case's screw holes at all, and attempting to correct it often leads to the o-ring falling off, but after some trial and error I managed to get it secured propely with the o-rings.

If you want to bottom out easily you could just get some linier switches with light springs so it's easy to get to the bottom.

Bought a C3 pro hot swap because hot swap and keychron being decent but the piece of shit after 5 or so months I started getting permanent damage on the leds. They switch a different color depending on which one it is. The blue led is probably broken.Leds off btw. I can't complain that it still works and it was cheap, but nonetheless, this looks hideous.

I finally picked this up, and so far I like it. The most important part is that it's a wireless mouse with 1000Hz polling and it came with a paracord cable, two things I was missing the most. The ergonomics are okay, it's not an MX Master 3S but it's serviceable. I like the dock, it doubles as a charger and a hub for the USB dongle, clever design from the chinks. It's weighted too so it sits nicely on the desk. The extra side buttons are of course programmable so that's very neat, they're not that easy to accidentally press, and there's a sneaky DPI button under the rubberized scroll wheel that unfortunately doesn't tilt. The USB-C port is angled so when you plug the cable in it reduces it's drag, which is a nice touch.The first impressions are good, I like it so far. Hopefully it won't end up with fucky electronics in a month like my first 8BitDo experience with the Pro 2.

There are other speed switches but nothing that is accurately 1mm. I've used other akko switches in the past and they were always pretty great, I loved their rosewoods.
