This should not be working considering I only duct tape these butyl sheets as opposed to peeling off the paper and sticking them on, and yet even just a single layer of aero gold on both dark base 900 panels in this layout Is already making a difference.

Though I've put two sponges below the noisiest drive, I'll have to see how it applies to the non dampened Toshiba drive in the regular cage. Maybe then I'll stick it on permanently and put memory foam on top of that too.

TCL 27C2A UPDATE
I HAVE FOUND THE CULPRIT OF THE COIL WHINE
IT'S THE POWER BRICK HIDING UNDER MY DESK MAKING ME THINK IT WAS THE MONITOR ROUND CONNECTOR
Thank fucking God for external power supplies, I forgot this monitor uses an external PSU that's just shit and ear piercingly whiny

Question is though, should I still return it and get another one, RMA it, or just bite the bullet and get another power brick? The monitor is calibrated great on it's own and I'm pretty happy with it out of the box even with the vignetting

A quick search for "monitor power brick coil whine" on Google shows someone else using an MSI monitor with an identical power supply to the one in this photo, what an interesting coincidence that it whines too.

Best no-frills full size cases? I need at least 4-5 SSD/HDD drive bays and possibly room for more.

>Can give eye strain (nonstandard subpxiels+infintie contrat+bright+glossy)
>Shit tier firmware from manufactureres (Intrusive pixel refresh because it goes on a timer and is bugged and might decide u hit your 16hour hour when you are about to shoot a guy and your screen goes blank) (+not being able to disable pixelshift so a multimonitor setup is not only misaligned but consdtantyl rotating around)
>Not as bright as an OLED TV

If you can avoid 1 and 2 and don't want 3 there is no downside

The person I am giving a PC as a gift is not the most tech literate person. So I'm not sure if AMD drivers are something they can deal with. Even though Nvidia driver have been bad as well recently.

Now it makes sense why tvs are cheaper, you're the product
At least monitors aren't predatory (yet) but LG has already tried changing that and failed

The problem is I don't think normal PC buyers are going to ever consider a 9070XT build over an Nvidia build. No matter how popular the 9070XT gets.
