I think the most insidious thing is AMD is going to try to ride it out.
They know there is a problem, and it's likely a significant problem down the line once the CPUs have a certain amount of usage to them.
However AMD can't afford a recall/extended warranty, or have any desire to. They are only on the hook for CPUs for 3 years. If they have confidence that the CPUs will last the warranty period without mass failures they won't do shit. AMD seems to want people to treat CPUs as disposable.

People give Intel shit but they at least understood many people will keep a CPU longer than 3 years, even if their warranty has only been 3. It's why they offered an extended warranty on affected CPUs to at least give the impression they care about the CPUs lasting.

Tbh, I think part of it is seeing what happened with Intel with their CPUs failing.
AMD knows that if they ever admit to it, it would basically destroy the brand for the next 5 years, and they definitely don't wanna do that when they're actually gaining ground against intel.

I think it might end up being that other MOBO manufacturers will see what happened to Asrock's PR when AMD threw them under the bus and take steps to over-ensure that AMD's CPUs don't burn themselves out. As AMD fanboys are ultimately more rabid than people who fanboy for fucking motherboards.

Brand new pc and everything boots fine into windows and I get display with the placeholder microsoft driver. entirely depends on the game, I can run stellar blade demo at 4k no problem, fps were actually above 110, and yet I feel like I would rather run it at 1440p just to not give much strain to the gpu in the long run, since gpu was at 70% of so that way
Palworld, well that I ran it at 1440p because 4k was, not bad but you do notice some derps ocassionally, and as I said above I dont like to strain the gpu

If price is not a issue I say just get the 4k monitor, and run stuff at 1440p anyway, you can still enjoy the occasional 4k in not so demanding games if you wish, and movies here and there

You can clearly tell which is DLSS. But if you aren't looking at them on top of each other I don't think you'd notice much.
