Even by third world standards, iphones would be cheap for a car or a house, which third worlders buy regularly. They're expensive for the crappy electronics that they are, when you can get an equivalent phone for less, or a better phone for the same price. Hope this helps.

The Duo looks like a very nice phone, but I just don't give a shit about my phone enough to spend $2200+ on it. My iPhone 17 is still more than anything I need and I'd rather put that money into something like a GPU.
